'Reply 1988' Suddenly at 15.4%
In "Reply 1988" the on the spot highest rating reached higher than 15%.
On the 9th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Reply 1988" broadcast on Dec. 4th (script Lee Woo Jung, director Shin Won Ho), it was revealed that Duk Sun (played by Hye Ri)'s husband could be one of two people - Jung Hwan (played by Ryu Joon Yeol) or Taek (played by Park Bo Gum). As this had been a topic of great curiosity, viewers were highly interested in what would come of this.
On this episode, Moo Sung (played by Choi Moo Sung) had collapsed because of a brain hemorrhage. With that, instead of Moo Sung, Duk Sun helped Taek's overseas competition. Sun Young 9plyaed by Kim Sun Young) helped Moo Sung's hospital treatment and the story of Moo Sung and Sun Young's relationship was featured. This gave a lot of fun and emotional impact to viewers.
Meanwhile, "Reply 1988" is the third of the reply series - "Reply 1997" and "Reply 1994." This is a comic family drama about five families who live in the same alley in 1988 in Seoul. The drama features Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ra Miran, Girls' Day Hye Ri, Ko Kyung Pyo, and Park Bo Gum.
