Go Joo Won Is Mixed Up In An Assault Case

Actor Go Joo Won, who was recently seen in the drama "You're The Best, Lee Soon Shin", is being accused for his involvement in an assault incident.

The complainants revealed in a phone interview with Nocut News, "We were drinking a club when someone from Go Joo Won's group suddenly started a scene, and the fight went on for around ten minutes. One of my friends broke his tooth, and another has a footprint on his clothes. Go Joo Won's group left before the police arrived."

According to the Sinsa police who were the first to receive the report, when they were at the club, the alleged victims kept mentioning Go Joo Won's name, but the actor was nowhere in sight.

In a statement revealed by Go Joo Won's company on October 20, they explained that Go Joo Won, whose birthday was on October 16, spent the weekend celebrating with his four close friends in a club. Someone from the other party forced a kiss on the woman who was with Go Joo Won. Because Go Joo Won was a celebrity, he was made to leave first, and his friends remained to deal with the situation, but when he came back, he was assaulted by the other party. One of Go Joo Won's friends is in the hospital.

The Gangnam police station is currently handling the case, and an investigation is in process. CCTV footages and other accounts from those who witnessed the situation are being investigated to reveal the real victims.

The woman who was disrespected and the friend who is in the hospital are gearing to file legal action against the other people involved. Go Joo Won is also going to file a case for defamation.

Meanwhile, the other party is preparing to sue as well.
