'Reply 1988' Ryu Hye Kyung Talks About Marriage To Lee Il Hwa

On the 16th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Reply 1988" broadcast on Jan. 16th (script Lee Woo Jung, director Shin Won Ho), Sung Bo Ra (played by Ryu Hye Young) wanted to get permission to marry Sun Woo (played by Go Kyung Pyo).
On this day, Sung Bo Ra said, "I want to get married to Sun Woo. I hope you can give your blessings."
His mother Lee Il Hwa said, "No. You guys have the same last name. In the family registry, you are written as people who live with each other. You can't do that at all" she said.
Sung Bo Ra said, "Next year, they're going to let people with the same last name marry." Afterwards, they're going to get rid of the prohibiton on his law.
Meanwhile, "Reply 1988" is the third of the reply series - "Reply 1997" and "Reply 1994." This is a comic family drama about five families who live in the same alley in 1988 in Seoul. The drama features Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ra Miran, Girls' Day Hye Ri, Ko Kyung Pyo, and Park Bo Gum.
