Jonas Brothers: Band of Brothers Release Official Statement, Confirming Break-Up After 10 Years (Photo/Video)
The Jonas Brothers have official confirmed their split after being “band of brothers” for 10 years. In a statement posted on Facebook, the Jonas brothers explained the reason for split, and expressed gratitude to fans for standing behind them all these years. The brothers began expressing deep regrets for their decision.
The statement reads: “It is with heavy hearts that we confirm that our time as the Jonas Brothers is over. This decision has not come lightly, and we know that many of you will be disappointed.”
Signed by Jonas brothers, Joe, Kevin and Nick, the group said in the statement the statement that they decided to move towards one direction - - that is looking for their individual careers.
It continued, “The time has come for us to move forward on individual career paths. We have been a band of brothers for 10 years and are now choosing simply to be brothers. Going forward, you can expect exciting things from each of us, and we will of course continue to support each other in all things.”
The Jonas Brothers shuns rumors of the band’s split in an interview with People magazine on Oct. 29.
"It's really hard to say 'forever,' Nick was quoted as telling People magazine in an earlier report by KDrama Stars, before adding, "We're closing a chapter, for sure."
The news came almost three weeks after they cancelled what could have been their last tour together as brothers. The move has sparked speculations of the split. They then removed their official account on Twitter, @jonasbrothers.

This digital-only album contains four new studio recordings that would have appeared on our V album (which will now go unreleased). In addition, we're including 10 live tracks that we feel capture the energy and excitement of this past summer's tour. Details regarding delivery of this digital album to Team Jonas members will be issued shortly. We hope you enjoy this album as much as we've enjoyed performing for you over the last 10 years. It has been an amazing experience.
