"The Lies Within" Lee Min-ki and Lee Yoo-young Starts Full-Fledged Cooperation
Tae-sik and Seo-hee are digging into the secrets of the people involved revealing the truth about the death of Kim Seung-cheol (Kim Jong-soo) and the disappearance of Sang-hoon (Lee Joon-hyuk) in OCN's "The Lies Within." Since the last 8 episodes, Seo-hee confessed to Tae-sik for the first time that she had received a message from the killer and expressed her desire to fully cooperate with the investigation.
The killer left a note with the number "0214 0303 0306'" to Seohee. 0303 marks the day that Seohee's father Kim Seung-cheol (Kim Jong-soo) died and 0306 was the day her husband, Sang-hoon Jung (Lee Jun-hyuk), disappeared. Tae-sik and Seo-hee were convinced that 0214 also represents a date, and Seo-hee confirmed that she visited a funeral home on February 14 through Sang-hoon's car navigation record. Seo-hee visited all the family members on the list who had funerals on that day and eventually found a name, Choi Soo-hyun, that was related to Sang Hoon.
At the same time, Tae-Sik remembered that Choi Soo-hyun committed suicide due to depression. When he reassessed the case report, he realized that he had ignored the family's claims about Soo-hyun's usage of antidepressant medications. He then approached team leader Dae Yong (Lee Jun-hyuk) and requested if an autopsy could be done. It turned out Choi Soo-hyun's death wasn't suicide.
