Jung Ji Hoon is a heartless lawyer named Lee Jae Sang who cannot make the right decisions. Lim Ji Yeon plays the role of a determined detective named Ra Si On. She is also Lee Jae Sang's love interest. Kwak Si Yang takes on the role of Ra Si On's partner detective. He is in love with her.
Short Plot
Welcome 2 Life tells the story of a corrupt lawyer named Lee Jae Sang. He doesn't have morals and will do anything just to win the case. After an accident, he was transported into another universe. His life was completely different. This change made him realize the wrong things he has done.

"The concept of this drama is crossing over a parallel universe. The present and the parallel world look similar but completely different from each other. Lee Jae Sang who lives in the parallel world is a lawyer with integrity. His goal is to imprison the criminals and defend the innocent. The criminals that Lee Jae Sang worked for in the original world were proven guilty by the Lee Jae Sang in the parallel world. Ra Si On also has opposite personalities in the real world and in the parallel world. She is unapproachable and sad in the original world while cheerful and lively in the parallel world.
The first half of the drama shows the consequences of the wrong choices and taking second chances. Lee Jae Sang had the same life in two worlds. He made different choices that led him to a different life. Lee Jae Sang in the parallel world is the life that he might have if only he had made a different choice. The narcissistic lawyer realized that material things are not important when he spent time in the parallel world. Lee Jae Sang returned to the real world and showed how much he missed his family. He cried a lot and this is the most emotional scene.
The writers did great in making the villains. Jang Do Sik is a politician who will commit murders in order to get what he wants. He has an illegitimate son named Yun Pil Woo, who happens to be a psychotic murderer. Yun Pil Woo is taking lives freely for many years. He has a gruesome method of killing people. They are the pure evil villains that you do not want to miss."

"The drama started beautifully. It hooked me in the very first episode but the plot became predictable as the story progressed. The writers dragged the plot in a long time and the viewers became a bit impatient.
There is no connection to the incidents that took place before the switch in the parallel world. What is the connection between Lee Jae Sang's wrong choices to the storyline? I noticed major plot holes that are very obvious in the viewers. Ra Si On is a detective, so she should be armed at all times. The transition of time Lee Jae Sang spent in the other world returning to the real world was poor.
I think the writers used the parallel world just to wake up the main lead in the real world. The parallel world ends after he woke up. They should have given a little explanation of what happens in the parallel universe."
