A few more days 'till we hit April and we'll have another wave of new Korean dramas to binge on! Netflix continues to create original series under "Korean stories" in their service.

April 6: "How To Buy A Friend" - broadcasts every Monday and Tuesday

Based on a webtoon series with the same title, it is a story about three highschool students. It covers teenage journeys towards friendship, young love, and school. A popular young girl named Kim So Hye is played by Se Yoon. The brain of the group is Lee Shin Young, played by Chan Hong, and the legendary fighter Shin Seung Ho is played by Don Huk.

April 17: "The King: Eternal Monarch" - broadcasts every Friday and Saturday

Network: SBS, Netflix

Genre: Historical, Romance, Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi

Director: Baek Sang Hoon

Screenwriter: Kim Eun Sook

Episodes: 16 (60 minutes per episode)

Wherein there are two parallel worlds that Lee Gon tries to live. He is born with power as a Korean emperor who takes care of his kingdom after his father died. In his journey, he travels to another world wherein he takes a different role in life. He meets inspector Jung Tae Eui who captures criminals and becomes his partner in saving both worlds.

This is currently one of the most anticipated Korean dramas this year. Popular actors Lee Min-ho, Woo Do Hwan and Kim Go-eun will headline the series. It is written by the creator of Goblin, Descendants of the Sun screenwriter Kim Eun Sook.

April 18: "When My Love Blooms" - broadcasts every Saturday and Sunday

The drama tells the story of two individuals at their prime  age - 40. Yoon Ji Soo, a single mother, meets her first love Han Jae Hyun, who is a successful businessman. They unite again after they ended their relationship during college years.

Starring in the drama is Jeon So Nee, GOT7's Jinyoung, Lee Bo Young, and Yoo Ji Tae.

April 20: "Born Again" - broadcasts every Monday and Tuesday

Genre: Mystery, Romance, Drama, Melodrama

Director: Jin Hyung Wook

Screenwriter: Jung Soo Mi

Episodes: 32 (35 minutes per episode)

This story revolves around reincarnation. Jang Ki Young plays Gong Ji Cheol's past life as a lone wolf. Lee Soo Hyuk plays Cha Hyung Bin's past life as a detective, and Jin Se Yeon plays Jung Ha Eun's past life in relationship with Cha Hyung Bin. After their death 32 years ago, they reincarnate and their paths cross again.

April 27: "Good Casting" - broadcasts every Monday and Tuesday

The series is about a female agent who works in the National Intelligence Service as an undercover in any high-profiled cases. Choi Kang Hee's, in character as Baek Chan-mi, career shifted to a desk job in the cybersecurity department. One of her teammates died in one of their cover cases. An opportunity opened for her to work undercover for a big case.  

April 29: "Extracurricular" - broadcasts every Wednesday

Genre: Friendship, Crime, Drama

Screenwriter: Jin Han Sae

In this drama, four high school students earn money by doing illegal activities. Kim Dong Hee played Ji Soo, Jung Da Bin played Min Hee and Park Joo Hyun played Gyu Ri who all commit crimes to earn a living. Nam Yoon Soo, in character as Gi Tae, joins the gang when he becomes the love interest of Min Hee.
