Upcoming "The Mermaid Prince" Unveils Refreshing Beach View in New Poster

A new poster photo has been released for the latest drama The Mermaid Prince, set to broadcast via Lifetime channel. The beach backdrop exudes a relaxing feel, together with the lead actors in their white-themed 'fits.

The story revolves around a fresh female grad who decided to spend her holiday in Gangwon Province. There, she meets a young man who manages a beach house. Their friendship started, and they discovered new adventures together. The series is a webtoon remake with lead actors Moonbin to play as Woo Hyuk and Jung Shin Hye to play as Hye Ri. Other supporting characters are Seung Min (Park Tae In), Na Yeon (Kim Hong Bin), and Moon Seok (Baek Jae Min).

The webtoon fantasy drama will also have a pre-released broadcast on April 14 on Seezn, while on April 24 at 9 P.M. KST it will broadcast on Lifetime YouTube every Friday.

Considering that the lead actor is ASTRO's Moonbin, it's safe to say that fans are anticipating the drama and the idol's performance. He just recently returned to the limelight after a three-month rest from the entertainment industry to focus on his health.

For those who aren't aware, Moonbin was the child actor who appeared in well-received Boys Over Flowers. He also appeared in web dramas To Be Continued and Perseverance Goo Haera from MNET. His acting skills continue to be recognized, not to mention his good performance in At Eighteen. AROHAs are happy and waiting for this drama since this is Moonbin's first lead acting project.

Teen actress to star is Shin Hye appeared in popular drama series in 4 seasons for Love Playlist. The supporting roles are composed of rookie actors and teen models.

Moonbin's character, Woo Hyuk, is spotted always swimming and taking care of the beach house. He is handsome and good at everything he does. Jung Shin Hye's role, Hye Ri, is a fresh grad who took a trip to the province together with her good friends. Park Taein, portraying SeungMin, cares and has feelings for Hye Ri. He is famous in the university because of his good looks and high status. Kim Hong Bin is Na Yeon, a close friend of Hye Ri, who knows her secrets. Baek Jae Min, in character as Moon Seok, is a good friend of Woo Hyuk who understands his interest in beach life.
