"When My Love Blooms" Recap: Jae Hyun Spends A Day Following Ji Soo
Ji Soo walked with a heavy heart as she went home and left Young Min after the parent's conference. The principal advised that there will be no further disciplinary action.
At the railways, Jae Hyun greeted Ji Soo, saying there is no need to worry about the boys since they are still young. Ji Soo turned around and saw Jae Hyun's face, and as he said the words, "There you are Ji Soo." Tears rolled down her cheeks as she faced her first love, Jae Hyun.
"I should have found you sooner, I'm so late," Jae Hyun told her.
Ji Soo replied that there was no need to think about the past. They ended up seeing because of what happened to their children. She pretended to say that she can't remember things in the past.
There are no more trips to the Hwabon station back to the city. Jae Hyun offered Ji Soo to join him as they will get shelter nearby. They get one room each and rest. The whole night, each one thought about their college days. Ji Soo went back to the memories of listening to Jae Hyun playing the guitar. He asked her not to follow him around the school though he never meant it.
The next day, they eat their breakfast together and go home separately. Ji Soo chose to go back by taking the train as she felt uncomfortable talking to Jae Hyun.
As he arrived in the city, Jae Hyun started to research Ji Soo's life and family. He asked his secretary Joon Woo to follow and gather more information about Ji Soo.
Ji Soo visited her father at the hospital, sharing her experience meeting Jae Hyun for the first time. She never thought that they would end up meeting through the school of their children. Ji Soo thought about meeting Jae Hyun when her life was at its lowest and struggling to survive. She felt more saddened about her situation.
Seo Gyung arrived from her trip abroad. She was furious to know that Jae Hyun decided not to file any disciplinary complaint with Ji Soo's son. Jae Hyun met her and explained why he chose to drop the case to protect their son. He turned around and headed to the kitchen.
Ji Soo met one of the members of the parents association in a coffee shop. She asked Ji Soo to step down as chairman of the association. They learned that she works in the supermarket and lives as a single mother. Ji Soo agreed to what she recommended and left the place.
Ji Soo met her ex-husband as she was asked about their Young Min's whereabouts. Se Hoon tried to contact Young Min but to no avail. Ji Soo checked, but her son won't message or call her back. Young Min's having a hard time in school with bullying. He chose not to share his experience and not to let them worry more.
Seo Gyung pursued a disciplinary action. Ji Soo was shocked since Young Min can either be expelled, or they may pay a large amount. Jae Hyun was helpless with his wife's stubbornness because she always does what she wants.
Seo Gyung went early for the parents meeting with the committee. Ji Soo took the train and met Seo Gyung at the principal's office. Seo Gyung insisted on proceeding with the case. Ji Soo was desperate and knelt in front of Seo Gyung to ask for forgiveness.
Just in time, Jae Hyun entered the room and saw Ji Soo on the floor. He addressed Ji Soo to stand up, yet she chose not to listen. Jae Hyun grabbed her hands, and with a firm voice, called her name to help her to stand up. Ji Soo looked at Jae Hyun and Seo Gyung with concern.
Seo Gyung was shocked to hear the name his husband mentioned while helping the lady stand up.
