Han So Hee Describes Working With Co-Star Kim Hee Ae
"The World of The Married" star Han So Hee was asked in an interview about working in a drama together with her role model, actress Kim Hee Ae.
During the premiere of the JTBC series, it immediately set viewership records, and eventually, the drama accomplished a Korean cable network record as it hit the highest viewership ratings.
Han So Hee also received praise here and there for her acting skills and portrayal as Yeo Da Kyung, the only child of her well-off parents. While doing so, Han So Hee had an affair with one of the main characters, Lee Tae Oh, who is portrayed by actor Park Hae Joon, and soon enough destroyed the marriage of Tae Oh and his spouse, Ji Sun Woo, portrayed by actress Kim Hee Ae.
Although later on, Han So Hee becomes the wife of Lee Tae Oh, her world came crashing down when she decided to leave her now-husband Tae Oh.
Han So Hee didn't hold back expressing her appreciation for actress Kim Hee Ae. She said that it was quite challenging for her to act around the veteran star, adding that the most difficult part was when she hit Kim Hee Ae's head during the night of revelation. She felt terrible about it, thinking that she shouldn't have struck her, yet she also wanted to do the scene properly.
Having the other senior stars in the scene made it even harder for her to do the scene. Han So Hee remarked that she respects Kim Hee Ae so much because of her deep level of immersion when it comes to acting.
The actress added that everyone in the project was so invested and understood that if they communicated out of the set, it could trigger the emotional framework to be disturbed or be broken. Han So Hee also agreed that if she had a personal bond with Kim Hee Ae, their genuine-like portrayal of their characters could break, and they wouldn't be able to bring their characters to life and bring them justice.
Further, the beautiful actress shared that she understood why Kim Hee Ae had to go on set as Ji Sun Woo. She thought that Kim Hee Ae was being considerate towards her, and that speaks volumes on the veteran star's professionalism.
Han So Hee then discussed the changes between Sun Woo and Da Kyung's relationship as the drama developed. She said that some kind of kinship and understanding between the two arose, but Da Kyung removed Sun Woo and turned her back on her former life. After a couple of years, Da Kyung can be seen studying overseas. But what made her surprised was the words of Ji Sun Woo towards her, saying, "Don't trust Lee Tae Oh."
It was the point in the drama when Yeo Da Kyung became wary of Ji Sun Woo. She began thinking rationally rather than with her emotions.
