"Dinner Mate" Recap: Do Hee Torn Between Her First Love and Her Dinner Mate

Hae Kyung arrived at the park where Do Hee spent the night. They talked and enjoyed their time with a bonfire. 

Jae Hyuk tried to contact and persuade Do Hee to meet that night, but Do Hee already convinced that she wanted to move on. She thanked Hae Kyung for accompanying her every time she's sad and needs someone to talk to. 

As they head home, Hae Kyung drove Do Hee to her place. Jae Hyuk waited for her and confronted Do Hee outside her place. Hae Kyung saw from a distance Do Hee trying to move away from Jae Hyuk's grip.

She was surprised as Hae Kyung appeared at her side and advised Jae Hyuk to release Do Hee's hand. Jae Hyuk questioned his presence, and Do Hee informed Jae Hyuk that Hae Kyung is her boyfriend. Both men are surprised, but Hae Kyung pretended and went with the flow as he held Do Hee's hand and ushered her to walk away.

Jae Hyuk got more frustrated looking at Do Hee walking with Hae Kyung holding hands.

The next day, at the 2N Box production team, Jae Hyuk arrived and gave Do Hee an invitation from their common friend. A wedding is coming up, and he wished they go together. Do Hee declined his offer and walked away.

Jae Hyuk applied to work at the 2N Box agency to work and get near with Do Hee. But Do Hee tried her best to work with him professionally.

Actress Jin Noh-Eul has a new production show with 2N Box. Do Hee is the assigned producer for her show. They planned her content and met her at the agency.

Do Hee and Noh-Eul didn't know that they knew Hae Kyung and dealt with him many times. Do Hee is not aware that Psychiatrist Kim is her dinner mate. This goes with Hae Kyung that Producer Woo, who sent him rude emails, is his dinner mate. 

Noh-Eul invited Do Hee for an evening drink. They talked about their past loved experience. Noh-Eul admitted that she still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend, but she had a hard time patching things up. Her phone rang, and Hae Kyung's picture appeared on Noh-Eul's screen. 

She was speechless to know that her dinner mate is Dr. Kim, who she detests due to their heated exchange through emails. Second, Noh-Eul still has feelings for him.

Do Hee invited Hae Kyung for a personal meeting without any dinner plan. Hae Kyung met her in a cafe. He was in a good mood. But Do Hee informed him that they need to stop as dinner mates. She continued that she doesn't know him and doesn't see any future together. She stood up and left him baffled.

On the day of their friend's wedding, Jae Hyuk and Do Hee attended the event. Their friends hoped that they get back together, but Do Hee is consistent with moving on to a new life away from Jae Hyuk.

On her way home, she felt lonely and sad about her ended friendship with Hae Kyung, but it didn't take long as Hae Kyung waited for her outside her place. He approached her and handed over his business card. He introduced his name and profession. Do Hee's heart skipped a beat.
