‘Reply 1994’ PD ‘We’ll Have a Third Season When We Have A Story"
Regarding press releases that said that there would be no season three for "Reply 1994" tvN Shin Won Ho producer drew the line saying, "It hasn't been decided yet."
On November 7th, one media source had said that the hit tvN "Reply" series was ending with "Reply 1994."
"Reply 1994" is the sequel to "Reply 1997" that was a great hit last year and has been drawing a lot of attention. Especially because writer Lee Woo Jung, producer Shin Won Ho and the past staff has collaborated again, it's created another "Reply" phenomena.
Regarding this, producer Shin Won Ho said through a phone conversation with Joy News 24, "This is probably because we said that we don't have plans for season 3 yet. We received similar questions last year nearing the end of the series."
He also added, "When we have a story that we want to tell and when the internal conditions of the company as well as the viewers responses are all in line, we will talk about a new series.
Meanwhile, last "Reply 1994" started on October 18th with 1994 as a background and it features the tear-filled adjustment of people from the countryside coming to Seoul, the great basketball parade, Seotaiji and Boys as well as societal issues. This 20 episode drama features Jung Woo, Go Ah Ra, Yoo Yeon Suk and Kim Sung Gyun.
