Netflix Confirms Production of New Original Series by The Director of "Extracurricular"
The No. 1 streaming platform Netflix has officially announced to produce new original series "Undercover." He will be working again with director Kim Jin-Min who got positive reviews from the crime-themed youth series "Extracurricular."
The upcoming drama's lead cast members have been in talks for the past months. The story revolves about a mobster's daughter who joins a cartel and becomes a mole in the police to uncover the truth behind her father's death.
Netizens are more excited as rising actress Han So Hee is in talks to portray the female protagonist named Ji-u, a woman who got herself involved in a secret organization so she could join the training fighting with criminals on the street. This is to avenge her father's death and find the culprit.
In her quest to find the killer, she becomes an undercover agent while solving crime cases at the station. Things change when a detective falls in love with her.
Han So Hee will portray a different side of character showing fighting scenes should she confirm in the said role. The young actress rose to fame in her lead role as a mistress in JTBC's "The World of the Married," hailed as the highest-rated Korean drama in cable history.
Netflix also confirmed streaming "The World of the Married" as one of the must-watch dramas this August. This will then give the viewers across borders a glimpse of Han So Hee's remarkable performance.
In discussion right now is another rising actor Ahn Bo Hyun to play as Jeon Pil-do, who is to work side by side with Han So Hee's character. The actor received the offer, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Jeon Pil-do is good looking, strong, and a determined detective. Showing outside his cold and tough appearance lies a man with a hurtful past. He fights for the oppress and victims who are experiencing the same tragic experience as him.

Ahn Bo Hyun rose to popularity in the hit drama "Itaewon Class." He is also currently filming the upcoming MBC series "Kairos." His career is doing well, and enjoying the lead roles he is receiving, giving his fans different characters to feast on.
This will be another masterpiece of director Kim's hit series. His previous series are "The Liar and His Lover" and "Lawless Lawyer." He will then collaborate with screenwriter Kim Ba-da of OCN's action-fantasy series "Hero."
"Undercover" will be available for streaming on Netflix in over 190 countries and will be produced by Fleet Co. Ltd.
