Go Joon, Jo Yeo Jeong, and More Attend 1st Script Reading for "If You Cheat, You Die"
Cast of new comedy thriller drama "If You Cheat, You Die" held their first reading.
KBS2 TV shared photos of the event as the cast showed off great chemistry. The producing director Kim Hyung Seok and collaboration with writer Lee Sung Min, they greeted the cast with a warm welcome.
The drama stars Jo Yeo Jeong, Go Joon, Yeonwoo, and Kim Young Dae, while the supporting roles include Song Ok Sook, Jung Sang Hoon, Lee Si Eon, Kim Ye Won, Hong Soo Hyun, Oh Min Seok, Lee Se Na, Bae Noo Ri, Kim Jung Pal, Kim Do Hyun, Lee Tae Hyung, Kim Soo Jin, Song Seung Ha, and many more.
"If You Cheat, You Die" is about a novelist Kang Yeo Joo, portrayed by Jo Yeo Jeong, who writes crime mystery books but loves to think about different ways of killing people. Go Joon plays as Han Woo Sung, her husband and a divorce lawyer, who made a written promise to his wife. The bonded promise states, "If you cheat, you die."
Director Kim Hyung Seok thanked the actors for their participation and wished everyone to make the best fun and classy drama, beating the pandemic with their chemistry and good ratings.
The head of KBS drama Lee Gun Joon acknowledged everyone's presence and shared that this is one of the big projects for KBS and hoping for high viewership ratings as good as the title of the show. The married couple of the show, Jo Yeo Jeong and Go Joon, showed their best moments in comedy and thrills as they started exchanging their lines.
Rookie actor Kim Young Dae plays Cha Soo Ho, a convenience store part-time worker who helps Kang Yeo Joo and safeguards her.
Song Ok Sook, in character as Yeom Jin Ok, IS a professional housekeeper while Jung Sang Hoon as Son Jin Ho, the best friend of Han Woo Sung.
Meanwhile the law enforcement unit starts with Lee Si Eon as detective Jang Seung Chul who works together with Kim Ye Won as Ahn Se Jin. She is the only female detective of the violent crimes department. The two officers share a good working relationship since they joined the police department of the same year.
The chief at the National Intelligent Service is Ma Dong Gyun, portrayed by Oh Min Seok.
The production shared that the drama is something new and has a funny and exciting plot for the viewers. Considering the great actors and a good storyline, people will love it.
"If You Cheat, You Die" will premiere in October.
