Best-Selling Author Paulo Coelho Lauds Drama "My Mister"
The international best-selling author of the book "The Alchemist", Paulo Coelho, tweeted on Oct. 18 his awe after watching the 2018 Korean drama series "My Mister" that stars KPop idol IU and actor Lee Sun Gyun.
The famous novelist, Paulo Coelho, was captured by the beauty of the My Mister, a drama series about the story of Lee Ji Ahn (IU's character) having a special relationship with Park Dong Hoon (Lee Sun Gyun's character) who is two decades older from her. On Oct. 18, Coelho's tweet ignited a trending topic about his admiration towards the said drama series.
"Congrats to the super screenplay, the fantastic director, and the best possible cast." Paulo Coelho tweeted. The fans of the KDrama series My Mister quoted that Paulo Coelho's tweet is one of the strongest proofs that the drama series had already dominated the world.

This is not only the first time that the popular author was whipped with the Hallyu fever. In September, Paulo Coelho also shared a scene from a Honeybee's webtoon A Girl I Know, where the protagonist is reading one of his famous books, The Alchemist.
Paulo Coelho also backed BTS from the haters of the group. In Feb. 29, Coelho said that the haters are just some confuesed admirers who wanted to be like them, following a tweet of nine purple hearts, an emoji that are most commonly used by the BTS fans. The author's admiration for the group was first seen when BTS stopped by Brazil for their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" world tour.
Paulo Coelho is a brazilian author famous for his best-selling novels like The Alchemist and The Archer. Coelho's success as an author started in 1982 when he released his first novel The Record of Hell. His milestone continued when he published The Alchemist, one of his most popular and award-winning books, in 1988. The Alchemist sold more than 40 million copies around the world.
Paulo Coelho is not the only famous personality who admire the performance of the cast and the story of the drama My Mister. Sebastian Roché, a famous French actor also praises the drama. He even called the series a genius drama. Roché encourages more people to watch the series. In his tweet, he said that the series is constantly great throughout. "Heartbreaking, realistic, sensitive. Brilliant performances, great writing and directing." He also added.
Lee Ji Eun, or most commonly known as IU, is a Korean idol and an actress. She recently played as the main lead character in the 2019 fantasy drama series, Hotel Del Luna with Yeo Jin Goo. She also starred in a historical drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in 2016. She was seen in Heroes in 2010, and continue acting with co-idol Bae Suzy in Dream High in 2011.
Lee Sun Gyun is remarkable with his participation in the award-winning movie Parasite in 2019. He also performed various roles in numerous movies like being a homicide detective in A Hard Day in 2014, a troubled man in Listen to Love in 2016, and a medical staff in Golden Time in 2012.
