The ongoing fantasy drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" will not broadcast new episodes on Nov. 18 and 19. The next episodes of the show will air the following week.

On Nov. 13, a source from the drama has released a report announcing that "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" will take a break from airing for a week. The show explained that they are doing this to ensure an improved and complete quality of production. However, there will be replacements for the show's missing episodes. On Nov. 18, a particular highlight broadcast of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" will air, then the following day, the show "Future Class" will be aired for the meantime. The 13 and 14 episodes of the drama will air the next week (Nov. 25 and 26).

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed," a fantasy drama that stars actors Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, and Kim Bum. The drama's story will feature the mythical creature known as a Gumiho (a nine-tailed fox), starred by Lee Dong Wook. He will portray the character of Lee Yeon, who was a former mountain spirit of Baekdudaegan. He gave up his life as a mountain god to reincarnate the life of the woman he once loved deeply, A Eum. Lee Yeon now settles in the city and lives his life as a nine-tailed fox in human form and has lived like this for centuries.

Actress Jo Bo Ah stars as the talented television producer Nam Ji Ah; her current show features urban myths and supernatural beings. She has a strong personality and very goal-oriented. One day her paths crossed with Lee Yeon, and when she sets her sights on him, it seems that he appears just too good to be true; irresistibly handsome, intelligent, fit; in fact, the ideal guest. But his heartlessness will make her doubt that he is indeed out of this world.

Lastly, actor Kim Bum plays Lee Rang, the Step-brother of Lee Yeo, who seeks revenge on his brother by creating mischief. He is half-human himself and known to be the most dangerous of all Gumihos living among humans. Lee Rang's character will bring more complications to the story. When he was a child, Lee Rang was abandoned by his mother in the Forest of the Aguis. There he was attacked by an Agui, but fortunately, Yeon was there and rescued him. Both Lee Rang and Lee Yeon went to the mountains to start anew and lived happily. However, when Ah Eum died, Yeon left Baekdudaegan to follow her, this caused Rang to feel angry at his brother.

The drama is being helmed by director Kang Shin-Hyo who previously directed "Children of A Lesser God," "The Heirs," "Midas," and many more. Writer Han Woo-Ri pens it.

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" has been garnering steady viewership ratings since its premiere. They stayed in the lead with ratings of 5.318%, a jump from last episode's 4.863%.
