Son Ye Jin's Glam Team Discloses She Mostly Didn’t Wear Any Makeup in ‘Crash Landing on You’

For us Korean drama lovers, we tend to follow beauty trends from our favorite Korean drama stars. From hair clips to clothes, makeups, and even skin care routines we don't want to miss any of it. Of course, once we see what our favorite Korean star is wearing we automatically imagine ourselves using it!
One particular star that we usually copy is "Crash Landing on You" leading lady Son Ye Jin, specifically ladies like to imitate her signature clean, barely-wearing makeup look and natural relaxed hair. Well, in an episode of Allure Korea's Star Beauter-view, the actress' longtime glam team was able to reveal her best looks in the massive hit drama.
The actress's glam team consists of her hairstylist for 12 years named Gu Mi Jeong and her makeup artist who's been making her look glamorous for six years, Mujin. They are both from the top beauty salon in South Korea, one of the favorites go-to salons of Korean celebrities, Jennyhouse.
At the start of the video, the glam team described Son Ye Jin's hairstyle and makeup in the drama. They revealed that her looks are when she's Yoon Seri in the South and the North! They said that she star barely wore any makeup and her hairstyle was also made very simple for a soft and casual look.

Then, when she becomes the Yoon Seri from Seoul, her style changes. She wore a different hairstyle, and as for her makeup, Mujin used two different foundation tones to create a natural gradation which made her face look smaller and contoured. We all know that Son Ye Jin is blessed with an amazing skin texture, so she doesn't need to wear a lot of makeup base plus she didn't use any powder so natural beauty would glow.
The duo also talked about Son Ye Jin not wearing blush since she possesses that natural beauty! Mujin didn't apply mascara and didn't even curl her lashes when she was doing Ye Jin's makeup for the CLOY. There's also one scene where she only wore lip balm. What an effortless beauty.

They also added that Son Ye Jin particularly wants her makeup to be less and doesn't like it when her makeup or hairstyle is "over-the-top". And guess what? Son Ye Jin would even braid her hair by herself!
To conclude the video, Son Ye Jin's glam team shared how they were able to work well and get along with the actress. They have built a good relationship that sometimes they don't have to speak at all to understand what she wants; they would just look at her eyes to know what she's trying to say. Well, this is proof that they have been with her for so long that they just know each other very well!
