Park Hye Soo Accused of Bullying and School Violence

In February, the "K-pop Star" alum found herself in the middle of a controversy after she was accused of being a school bully.

Two of her former classmates claimed that they were victimized by the actress and experienced harassment in school.

In a previous article, the alleged victim detailed how the "Introverted Boss" star would pick her on by harassing and verbally abusing her. Moreover, Park Hye Soo's former classmate also described the actress as someone who is famous at school for "being a bully and taking money from kids."

Despite the unfortunate situation, the unnamed victim shared that she's clueless as to why she's being attacked by the "Samjin Company English Class" actress.

Amid the statements of alleged victims, Park Hye Soo and her agency denied the allegations.

Weeks after the scandal broke out, Studio Santa Claus Entertainment released a statement and cited that the testimonies are "false information aimed to malicious slander Park Hye Soo by exploiting the social atmosphere of school violence."

Moreover, the actress' agency planned to seek legal action "to any misconduct" that administers false and malicious slander against the "Hello, My Twenties!" star.

"We are planning to take maximum action to the extent permitted by law, including criminal charges against all offenders as well as civil claims for damages, so we ask that you stop posting and distributing any more false posts immediately," the statement reads.

Park Hye Soo Addressed the Harassment Accusations

Aside from her agency, Park Hye Soo also released a statement addressing the bullying and harassment controversy.

In a lengthy post over her Instagram, the actress shared that she's been victimized by school bullies and had to transfer from a different school. She also recalled how the incident affected her and had to undergo psychological counseling for three years.

Moreover, the 26-year-old actress denied all the allegations and asked to stop "spreading unreliable, constantly-changing lies" about her.

She concluded her statement by apologizing to the KBS network and thanking fans who show their support despite the controversy.
