After publicly introducing her new beau, the 39-year-old actress has been embroiled with issues surrounding her boyfriend's past.

However, she once again responded to comments and stood by her relationship.
"I've been in a lot of relationships, and this man is real." Han Ye Seul Instagram states, adding, "I'll protect my man."
Earlier this month, the actress made headlines after a Youtube channel exposed his boyfriend's true identity.
Han Ye Seul's boyfriend, Ryu Sung-Jae, who is ten years younger than the actress, revealed that he used to be a male escort at a host bar as cited by the channel, Garosero Research Institute.

Han Ye Seul Reveals Truth Behind her Boyfriend's Past
Unfortunately, the rumors did not stop there.
It was also noted that the actress and her 29-year-old beau met at an illegal karaoke bar two years ago.
Seemingly, the Youtube channel revealed that the establishment was located at Cheongdam-dong in Gangnam, Seoul, which is considered an upscale area.
With this, the "Big Issue" star addressed the rumors and admitted that she met Ryu Sung-Jae at a karaoke bar; however, she denied that he is a male escort, as the Youtube channel claims.
"You may think that host bars and karaoke are the same, but I believe that in karaoke, everything is done in the open," the actress shared on Instagram.
Moreover, she also shared that her boyfriend had already quit the job.
Han Ye Seul's boyfriend is a former theater actor who previously starred in productions which include "Lucky Romance" and "In the Burning Darkness."

Apart from the male escort rumors, Dispatch revealed that Ryu Sung-Jae has been entangled in a fraud issue and has been receiving money from married women.
In addition, the South Korean outlet also noted that he unfollowed his co-workers on social media in hopes of burying his past.
Meanwhile, this was all denied by Han Ye Seul's agency.

Over Han Ye Seul's Instagram, the actress posted a photo of her in front of a jaw-dropping purple Lamborghini alongside a caption that says "I spill all the juice so stay tuned!" with a hashtag that reads, "Let's take this to the end" and "I can't stand it anymore."
This might refers to the issue regarding her boyfriend.
On the other hand, one fan asked if the incident with the KPop star was true.
"Are the rumors that you slapped BLACKPINK's Jennie true?" to which the 39-year-old actress quickly answered and revealed that she hadn't met the BLACKPINK member--not even once.
With this, netizens lauded her response as she immediately addressed the rumors towards her and BLACKPINK's Jennie.
