"Healer" is the second K-drama confirmed to be illustrated in webtoon, following the 2017 series "Fight for My Way."

Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young's Drama "Healer" to be Available in Webtoon Soon!

KBS action-romance series "Healer," starring Park Min Young and Ji Chang Wook, is expected to have a webtoon adaptation.

Six years after its broadcast, K-drama "Healer" will be making its way into a wider and diverse community. According to Xport News, the series that aired from December 2014 to February 2015 will finally be produced as a webtoon.

The adaptation will be available on Naver, Kakao, and other platforms in the future.

Romance drama "Healer" is about the popular reporter Kim Moon Ho (Yoo Ji Tae) who discovered the truth behind a controversial case that happened years ago. To slowly solve the case, he intentionally approaches the people involved and helps them after.

On his way of knowing the truth, he met internet reporter Chae Young Shin (Park Min Young) and "Healer" Seo Jung Hoo (Ji Chang Wook). After knowing them, Kim Moon Ho helped them grow into real reporters.

Even though the series was aired six year ago, there are still overseas K-drama enthusiasts who keep on re-watching and are still discovering "Healer," thanks to its unique and classy story concept.

Meanwhile, due to their excellent performance in "Healer," lead actors Park Min Young and Ji Chang Wook won various awards in 2014 KBS Drama Awards. The "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" star received the Excellent Actress award, while Ji Chang Wook was the recipient of the Popularity Actor Award. They also received the Best Couple Award.

"Fight for My Way" Also to be Adapted into Webtoon

"Healer" is the second Korean drama confirmed to be made in a webtoon.

In May 2021, the 2017 romantic-comedy drama "Fight for My Way" that starred Kim Ji Won and "Itaewon Class" actor Park Seo Joon was the first one to be revealed to have webtoon adaptation soon.
