Jo Hee Ra Fulfills Jung Jin's Wish for Revenge
Jo Hee Ra (Song Ji Hyo) made a surprise appearance in Jung Jin's (Nam Ji Hyun) life and introduced herself as a witch. It was after Jung Jin and her mother got scammed by the previous restaurant owner who said that it was already sold to them.
As a person who just got fired from work and came from a breakup with her boyfriend, Jung Jin is indeed the unluckiest.
In The Witch's Diner Episode 2, Jo Hee Ra visited Jung Jin inside the restaurant and offered to help her.
With Jung Jin's eagerness to take revenge, she agreed to Jo Hee Ra's condition. The next thing she knew, Park Kyung Hee (Park Se Kyung), the owner of the previous restaurant who scammed her mother, was found dead.
Jung Jin didn't expect that Jo Hee Ra would be that savage. She regretted her greed for revenge. Jung Jin went to Jo Hee Ra to protest, but she was tasked to be her new employee in the Witch's Diner, bragging about the deal that they made.
Jo Hee Ra takes over the restaurant that Jung Jin and her mother used to run before. The witch turned it into a classic and mysterious resto, which she named "The Witch's Restaurant."
Lee Gil Yong and Jung Jin Unexpected Encounters
The Witch's Diner Episode 2 revealed Lee Gil Yong (Chae Jong Yeop) is a kind-hearted and diligent student-athlete. He wanted to join the marathon years ago but got an injury.
On his return to running, he was entangled in trouble along with his friend, who was consistently getting bullied by their classmates.
As a man of justice, Lee Gil Yong made everything to save his friend. Even though he is preparing for his competition on the field, he didn't hesitate to throw himself and fight back to keep his friend safe.
Due to this, his knee was hurt, which again prohibited him from doing the competition. With all the bad things happening in his life, Lee Gil Young unexpectedly crossed paths with Jung Jin again.
The two had a short but memorable talk together. He felt the warm personality of Jung Jin and wished to see her again next time.

Jung Jin and Lee Gil Yong Got Trapped in "The Witch's Restaurant"
While on his way home, Lee Gil Yong discovered The Witch's Restaurant and went inside to order food. After he entered, he found Jung Jin inside and was happy to see her again. Little did he know that there's something he would discover during his stay.
Jo Hee Ra appeared and immediately asked Lee Gil Yong about his order. Jung Jin, on the other hand, was hesitant to let the guy dine inside. She grabbed Lee Gil Yong's hand and briefed him about the problem he might encounter once he ate Jo Hee Ra's special food.
But Jung Jin's words didn't bother Lee Gil Yong and still went back inside to know more about the magic.
Soon enough, Lee Gil Yong enjoyed every bite of the food the witch served. Jo Hee Ra made a deal with Lee Gil Yong and promised to fulfill his wish.
The next day, Jung Jin was surprised that Lee Gil Yong was already a part-timer in the restaurant.
