Seo Hyun Jin Shares Thoughts on "You Are My Spring" Drama
The actress shared why she chose "You Are My Spring" as her new project, "I choose the work written by a writer who I personally resonate with. I was invested in the drama after reading the script."
The drama depicts the stories of people who live with their "seven-year-olds in their hearts." They move to a building where a murder took place.
The wounds one gets as a child become traumatic even as an adult, but these wounds will help one person to heal and grow. She looked back to the past that made her who she is today. She expressed how she resonated with her character in the drama series. Seo Hyun Jin said she felt like she received treatment like Kang Da Jeong in the drama rather than acting.
Seo Hyun Jin Shares How She Prepares For a Drama
Seo Hyun Jin showed her acting prowess in hit dramas "Black Dog: Being A Teacher," "Another Miss Oh," "Dr. Romantic," and more.
According to the production teams she previously worked with, she's a person who can easily empathize with her character. She remembers and lives with her whole body, making her able to express her emotions quite well.
One thing the actress looks at a character is his or her past. She analyzes the character well to be able to empathize with her role.
"Once I get into the work, I'm the type of person who loses the thin boundary between the character and myself," she shared.

The actress has different sides of her, and every time she has a project, she makes sure she shows it to the viewers.
"Look, hear, and speak. Those are the basics of acting.I didn't major in acting at a university and I am envious of my friends who learned how to act systematically. I'm just doing what I can. I think it's much more fun to act with your heart," she added.

The actress shared that she wants to live her life without fear and regrets. When asked what word she personally finds beautiful, she answered, "Survivor. People who have great self-discipline and can't be shaken even in difficult times. It's different from being timeless or pure."
Seo Hyun Jin's favorite time is when she is on set. She shared that she enjoys chatting with people about acting in the filming set. "I'm bad at other things, and I easily get nervous and stressed, but I'm most comfortable when I'm on set."

"At home, I only cook and eat, play with my dog, and lie on the sofa. I don't do SNS that much," she carefully explained.
