‘Nevertheless’ Episode 9 Gains Slight Increase in Viewership Rating Ahead of Finale + Did Song Kang Let Go of Han So Hee For Good?

According to Nielsen Korea, the Saturday night drama garnered an average nationwide rating of 1.4 percent--this is a slight increase from their previous rating of 0.99 percent.
To recall, "Nevertheless" has struggled to maintain its viewership rating after having a good start during its debut.

'Nevertheless' Episode 10 Recap: Yu Na Bi Reveals Why She Can't Date Yang Do Hyeok
The latest episode starts with a heart-to-heart talk between Yu Na Bi (Han So Hee) and Park Jae Eon (Song Kang.)
At the local pub, the campus crush asked the senior art student about the real score between her and Yang Do Hyeok (Chae Jong Hyeop.)
She mentions his good traits; however, Na Bi gets honest and reveals why she can't date him.
Na Bi tells Jae Eon that she would only disappoint him because she is not a good person like what he thinks.
Meanwhile, Do Hyeok was drinking with his workmates at the restaurant and decided to surprise Na Bi along with his special gift.
On his way to his house, he sees her with Park Jae Eon.
At the same time, he spotted Do Hyeok from afar. While talking to Na Bi, he insisted on packing his belongings; this is just his excuse to put on a show in front of Do Hyeok to think that he is ahead of him.
"Nevertheless," episode 9 showed a heartbreaking scene for Yang Do Hyeok because the viewers knew how she loves Na Bi.

Unlike Na Bi, Kyu Hyun knew his worth and was not easily persuaded by Bit Na's tactic, but in "Nevertheless" episode 9, he sees that she deserves another chance.
In the latest episode, she brought a male friend to make Kyu Hyun jealous. She kept bugging him at the online cafe where he is working part-time.
At the counter, he called him and saw Kyu Hyun's phone with her name saved as "Oh My Sunshine," which made her all giddy.
In this scene, she bravely asked him on a date. During their talk, he emphasized that Bit Na should open up about her feelings more.
"Let's start dating again. Be my boyfriend," said Bit Na and hands him a heart keychain.
In addition, she acknowledged that it was her fault and vowed that she would never do it again.
Seo Ji Wan and Yoon Sol's Romance
Apart from the duo, another couple seems to have a happy ending ahead of the finale.
After she confessed her feelings towards her, Seo Ji Wan (Yoon Seo Ah) revealed why she's afraid to respond to her best friend, Yoon Sol (Lee Ho Jung).
During their talk, she mentioned that if she reciprocates her feelings and ends up breaking up one day, it means that their friendship will also be over.
However, Sol assured her that she would be with Ji Wan forever.
"My feelings will never change," she told her.
Yu Na Bi Drifts Away from Park Jae Eon
"Nevertheless" episode 9 highlights the character development of Yu Na Bi.
In the latest episode, it appears that she now sees her worth and decides not to get involved in Park Jae Eon.
After Do Hyeok walks to her home, she sees Jae Eon sitting near her house.
She did not expect that Jae Eon would express his jealousy towards Do Hyeok.
Na Bi gets cold towards him and asks her, "Am I boring to you since you have someone else now? Does he still like you even after seeing us entering your house?"
This made Na Bi furious, and told Jae Eon that she regrets meeting him.
Moreover, she mentioned how he was leading her on but always considered her as a friend.
"I knew there was no happy ending for us, but I was an idiot for getting my hopes up and thinking you could be sincere."
