‘Nevertheless’ Episode 10: Han So He Chooses Her Real Love + Song Kang Bids Farewell to His Butterflies

According to Nielsen Korea, Nevertheless episode 10 accumulated an average nationwide rating of 1.7 percent, which is a modest build-up from its past episode of only 1.43 percent nationwide.
Despite the low ratings, the Saturday night drama never fails to create a massive buzz online.
As of this writing #SongKang #Nabi and #NeverthelessEp10 is a top trending topic on Twitter, showing overwhelming support from viewers.

Nevertheless Episode 10 Highlights: The Aftermath
After their heated confrontation, as seen on episode 9, the latest episode featured the aftermath of Park Jae Eon (Song Kang) and Yu Na Bi's (Han So Hee) argument.
At the university, Na Bi seems affected by the situation between her and Jae Eon. At one point, they accidentally met each other in the hallway, but she chose to ignore him.
Will this be the end for both of them?

Nevertheless episode 10 illustrates a turning point for the main characters.
To make things worse, she discovered that all her art pieces were shattered, which means she has to work double-time and redo her pieces to make it on time for the art show.
Of course, this left Yu Na Bi speechless and devastated after all her months of hard work were wasted.
Meanwhile, Park Jae Eon received a call about the situation. Upon learning about Na Bi's accident, he immediately rushed to the studio to comfort her and offered to help.
"Let's fix this. And when we're done, I'll stay away from you. I promise," he mentioned.
The next day, the duo and Na Bi's other assistant Ji-Su started the artwork all over again.
At this point, she realized that she is still confused over her feelings for Park Jae Eon.
"I don't know how I should feel about Jae Eon, but focusing on the work together feels natural and comfortable. It's as if nothing happened between us."
In one scene, Na Bi expressed her gratitude towards him. Jae Eon told her that she looked the happiest and the prettiest when working on her art pieces, which obviously made her heart even more confused.
Is Park Jae Eon Leaving Korea?
After his brief talk with Na Bi, he heads on to his workstation, packs his stuff, and even gave his tools to Ji Su.
The following day, Ji Su gave Na Bi her old notebook and was told by Jae Eon to hand it to her.
In Nevertheless episode 10 also hints at Jae Eon totally giving up on Na Bi.
In the campus hallway, the students were baffled by Jae Eon's sudden disappearance. Ji Su then mentioned something about him going to the States.

After packing his things, he made a bold move and freed the butterflies.
"I don't think I can stay by her side any longer in a vague relationship like this," he told himself and opened the windows, setting the butterflies free.
Yu Na Bi Invites Yang Do Hyeok
The next scene sees Na Bi with Yang Do Hyeok (Chae Jong Hyeop) who is now a famous vlogger.
At the restaurant, she invites him to the gallery exhibition.
Na Bi mentioned the minor accident she had with her artwork and told him that someone said that she looks the happiest working on her pieces. Here, Do Hyeok sensed that it was Jae Eon.
The Most Awaited Exhibition
D-day has come for Yu Na Bi to show off her talent through her stunning art piece.
At the gallery, everyone was stunned by her sculpture and was even lauded by her professor.
Of course, Do Hyeok fulfilled his promise and came to drop by to check out the art show.
During his talk with Na Bi, he gets honest and mentioned how she likes Jae Eon.
This is probably a heartbreaking scene for #TeamPotato as Do Hyeok realized that he is not the one for her.
However, he thanked her for allowing him to feel that certain kind of emotion.
"I'm glad I was able to feel these emotions thanks to you. I'm grateful, so don't feel sorry."
Yu Na Bi Gets her Own Happy Ending
In the latter part of Nevertheless episode 10, everyone celebrated the end of their school year.
Here, the viewers witnessed the happy ending between Oh Bit Na and Nam Kyu Hyun as well as Yoon Sol and Seo Ji Wan.
However, Na Bi felt uncomfortable being surrounded by happy couples, which prompted her to head back to the gallery.
Here, she finds Jae Eon standing in front of her art piece.
Surprisingly, he asked her if he still got a chance to prove himself to Na Bi.
After a brief scolding and real talk, she mentioned that she feels better seeing him.
"So don't go somewhere and stay by my side," she told him, which made Jae Eon's heart flutter.
"Nevertheless" wraps with Yu Na Bi getting her own happy ending with Jae Eon despite the heartaches and confusion from the past.
