Jo Jung Suk Spoofs ‘Hospital Playlist 2’ in New Episode of ‘SNL Korea’ + Transform as AI Waiter Alpha Joe
Jo Jung Suk is set to unveil his playful antics and quirky side in the upcoming episode of "SNL Korea" season 10.
Being the resident funny man of the beloved tvN medical Kdrama, fans could expect a series of comical moments with the 40-year-old star with a parody of "Hospital Playlist" season 2.
From Lee Ik Jun to Alpha Joe in 'SNL Korea' Season 10
The actor will return as Lee Ik Jun; however, this time not with the 99ers but with the "SNL" host Jung Sang Hoon, Ahn Young Mi, Kwon Hyuk Soo, and Lee Su Ji, working as doctors at Yulje Medical Center.
In addition, Jo Jung Suk will take things to the next level as he transforms himself as an AI waiter named Alpha Joe alongside Jung Sang Hoon.
In a teaser photo, the duo wore the iconic white long sleeves with bow tie paired with a black trouser while completing the look with a shiny wig, making them look like a Ken doll.
The two actors will show off their chemistry, delivering hilarious stints for the viewers.
Apart from it, viewers would get to see Jo Jung Suk drew the attention through his impressive acting, singing and most especially his dancing skills that fans usually see on "Hospital Playlist 2."
Jo Jung Suk is the fourth guest host to appear in the "SNL" reboot.
His appearance was officially confirmed on August 23, stating that the actor will be making a comeback after four years.
At the time, the actor mentioned that he was looking forward to give the audience fun-filled entertainment and would do his best to "deliver pleasant laughter and energy" on the set.
To recall, the Saturday night program also invited several notable stars, including the award-winning Lee Byung Hun, followed by the "Secret Garden" star Han Ji Won and, for episode 3, the ever-beautiful and talented Jessi.
The upcoming episode of the Korean version of "Saturday Night Live" is scheduled to broadcast every Saturday at 10 p.m. KST through Coupang Play.

'Hospital Playlist 2 Special'
His upcoming appearance in "SNL Korea" comes after his mega-hit Kdrama "Hospital Playlist 2," which recently wrapped up with soaring ratings.
The tvN series officially bid farewell to fans on September 17 but vowed to return with a special episode and new variety show.
The "Hospital Playlist 2" cast aired its special episode on September 23 as they recalled their experience in season 2.
In the two-hour special, the couples--Wintergarden, GomGom, IkSong, and JunSun, share their remarkable moments and adventure behind the scenes.
Aside from the special episode, the cast is also set to appear in their own variety show, titled "Mountain Village Life Playlist."
Slated to broadcast on October 8, it will also feature PD Na Young Suk, who also appeared in one episode of "Hospital Playlist 2" alongside veteran actress Kim Hae Sook, who took on the role of Yoo Yeon Seok's on-screen mother, Jung Ro Sa.
