In the 2014 romantic melodrama "Mother's Garden," Choi Tae Joon transforms into the chaebol Cha Ki Joon.

Unexpectedly, he falls in love with Seo Yeon Joo (Jung Yu Mi), a veterinarian who specializes in horses.

The two of them came from very respected and successful families. However, he wants to pursue his culinary dreams instead of handling their family's business.

'The Girl Who Sees Smells'

Choi Tae Joon widened his acting spectrum as he appeared in the webtoon-based drama "A Girl Who Sees Smell," which follows the mystery of the "Barcode" serial killer whose victims are left with barcodes carved on their skin.

In the drama, Choi Tae Joon transforms into a tactical detective Ye Sang Gil for the series who bravely combs the town to take down the notorious serial killer.

'The Flower in Prison'

The actor also tried doing a historical drama. In 2016, he starred in MBC's award-winning historical drama "The Flower in Prison."

Choi Tae Joon successfully portrayed the role of Sung Ji Heon, a captain who has a vital role in the ministry.

The drama is set in the Joseon Era, and it follows the story of the people who came from different backgrounds and the social injustice in the system.

In Choi Tae Joon's latest romantic comedy-drama, "So I Married the Anti Fan," he took on the role of an A-list celebrity named Hoo Joon.

He coupled up with fellow dazzling star Girls' Generation member and actress Choi Soo Young, playing the role of his anti-fan reporter who unexpectedly lived with him for a variety show.

The drama also starred seasoned actors Hwang Chan Sung, Sung Hoon, Jeon So Min, and Song Ji Eun.
