‘Jirisan’ Episode 15 Introduces Ju Ji Hoon’s Family + Jun Ji Hyun Finally Discovers the Real Culprit Behind the Muder Cases

The tvN mystery thriller series once again left the viewers in awe following a surprising twist and turns as the weekend Kdrama nears its finale.
'Jirisan' Episode 15 Highlights: Kang Hyun Jo's Family Faces a Tough Decision
The December 11 episode welcomes Kang Hyun Jo's family, who went to the peak of Jirisan to bid their goodbye to the rookie ranger.
As his parents and sister trekked the mountain, they were stopped by the patrolling officers for reaching the forbidden areas but gladly paid the fine to reach the summit.
"Our son Hyun Jo worked at a great place," his mother said to which his father replied, "We should let him go," referring to the life support of Kang Hyun Jo, who is still in a coma after his accident.
Interestingly, "Jirisan" episode 15 featured the encounter of his sister and Seo Yi Kang.
At the Jirisan headquarters, Kang Seung Ah recalled how her brother told stories about the famous places at the mountain. She also recalled how Hyun Jo spoke highly of Yi Kang and thanked her for looking after her brother.
Following her conversation with Hyun Jo's family, the female ranger already knew about the family's decision to pull the plug of his life support.
Due to this, she became eager to hunt down clues that would lead to the real suspect.

Seo Yi Kang, Park Il Hae and Jung Goo Young Starts Their In-Depth Investigation
Seo Yi Kang sought help from their team leader, Park Il Hae and fellow ranger Jung Goo Young about her plans to track the culprit behind the mysterious deaths at the mountain.
Initially, Jung Goo Young was against it and advised his co-ranger to pass the case to the police, but Yi Kang had different plans in mind.
She said that it was time for them to finish what Kang Hyun Jo had started and that was to solve the case without the help of the police.
First, she revealed the possible prime suspect-- police officer Kim Woong Soon.
It came after Kang Hyun Jo's spirit warned Yi Kang to leave the mountain and not return, also revealing that Woog Soon is the killer.
The following scenes showcased Il Hae and Goo Young's probe to the former residents at the Black Bridge Village, but some refused to cooperate.
However, the team leader bumps into Kim Sol and recalls Yi Kang's theory about the former villagers.
Given that he used to live in the said village, Il Hae asked him whether he remembered something about the cable car migration but mentioned that he could not recall the incidents that happened at the time.
'Jirisan' Episode 15 Shows What Happened to Kang Hyun Jo at the Snow Mountain
Another revelation was the tragic accident involving Kang Hyun Jo.
The latest episode featured the scene before the rookie ranger met his unfortunate fate. He found Yi Kang covered in blood after accidentally falling off the cliff.
As he tried to get some help from the headquarters, the killer hit Hyun Jo on the head, which caused his coma.
The scene also illustrates that the suspect was wearing a winter suit that the rangers used to wear, hinting that they knew the culprit.
Seo Yi Kang Confronts Kim Sol
The female park ranger knew that they only had a limited time to save Hyun Jo.
Seo Yi Kang is now desperate to find out the suspect and because of this, she stole information at the police station, relating to the Black Bridge village case.
With the help of Il Hae's evidence, she managed to connect the dots and learned that the villagers are not against the cable car migration except for Kim Sol and Lee Se Wook's parents.
It gave them a hint as to why Lee Se Wook became the accomplice.
With the new information, she went to his home and confronted Kim Sol, saying she knew about his plans.
"The murderer who's been killing people on the mountain is you," Yi Kang said, wrapping up "Jirisan" episode 15 with a cliffhanger.
