It has been almost two years since "The Good Detective" season 1 concluded. JTBC granted the public's request and now the drama production is currently filming the much-anticipated second installment of the legal series.

Ahead of its possible release this year, one of its lead stars, Jang Seung Jo surprised fans and viewers on his new sns post as he gave a sneak peek on the set of "The Good Detective" season 2.

On the famous photo sharing app, the "Snowdrop" actor uploaded two photos of him inside the drama's location and enjoying the vibe. He comfortably posed for a candid shot. Jang Seung Jo is back with his role as an elite detective Oh Ji Yeok, the partner in crime of detective Kang Do Chang (played by Son Hyun Joo).

The set captured in the picture was the famous headquarters of the West Incheon Police of the Violent Crimes Team 2 in the drama. Jang Seung Jo also did not forget to mention in the hashtags his role, Oh Ji Yeok and the drama itself, "The Good Detective" 2.
As of this writing, his post already garnered more than 40,000 heart reactions on Instagram.

"The Good Detective" foretells the story of detectives who try to catch and punish criminals that hide ugly truths. Season 1 made its small screen debut on July 6, 2020 and ran until August of the same year. It received positive reviews both in Korea and abroad.
Furthermore, the said season 2 might have its release on JTBC primetime in the second half of 2022.
Jang Seung Jo to Reportedly Lead New K-Drama 'Can We Be Strangers?'
Meanwhile, Jang Seung Jo, who previously appeared in JTBC's historical romance series "Snowdrop" and will have his comeback with "TGD 2" received an offer to star in a new project.
Earlier this month, May 3, the musical actor was reported to lead the drama "Can We Be Strangers?" (working title), which he might team up with actress Kang Sora. In addition, if Jang Seung Joo accepts the series, he will reunite with "Secret Zoo" director Son Jae Gon.
