On Tuesday, May 24, broadcast network KBS officially confirmed the casting of Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo in a new drama!

"I Met You By Chance" (working title) is a strange yet enticing drama that transcends time. Set in 1987, a man who seeks the truth of a serial murder meets a woman who wants to prevent the marriage of her parents.
Kim Dong Wook takes on the role of Yoon Hae Jun, a great guy with a great personality. He works as a news anchor at a broadcasting company.
Jin Ki Joo
Meanwhile, Jin Ki Joo plays the role of Baek Yoon Young, an ordinary girl who craves a much simpler yet peaceful life.
The two meet by chance and as their friendship becomes stronger, they realize that they are entangled in each other's huge strings of fate.

The new Wednesday and Thursday drama "I Met You By Chance" is helmed together by director Kang Soo Yeon and scriptwriter Baek So Yeon.
The two artists collaborated once in 2019 in the highly loved Chosun drama "Battle of Nokdu."
Jin Ki Joo
Expectations about the drama's delivery, portrayal and audience impact are high. In particular, Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo's chemistry is also one of the things to anticipate in "I Met You By Chance."
As for the principal filming of the drama, the director will hold the megaphone in early June with the earnest goal of airing in the later part of the year.
