Spoiler Alert! In "Insider" episode 8, before his scheduled release, Kim Yo Han found out he was in danger. He was framed and accused of murdering Song Doo Chul (Choi Moo Sung).
Later on, when he knew that he was going to be transferred to another precinct, the judicial trainee went to Do Won Bong (Moon Sung Geun) and asked for help.
The chairman was down to help Yo Han free from prison but on one condition. Won Bong requested Kim Yo Han to kill someone for him as payment for his favor.
'Insider' Episode 9: Kim Yo Han Changes Plans
As his impending release got canceled and all the things he had built up at Seongju Prison were gone in the blink of an eye, Kim Yo Han started over and carefully made new plans for revenge. As his last resort, he had no choice but to beg Do Won Bong and fall to his knees to show his loyalty to the chairman. He was then released from jail.

Fortunately, at last, Kim Yo Han was free. He went straight home to reminisce the memories of his grandmother. He then received an order from Won Bong to kill Sang Gi Sang (Oh Tae Kyung), an engineer in charge of money laundering, and to infiltrate the upcoming board game.

He called Oh Soo Yeon (Lee Yoo Young) and asked for her assistance for his next mission.
Meanwhile, after learning about the wiretapping, Ko Bon Cheol hurriedly returned and confronted Kim Yo Han.

Yo Han, who already knew what happened, enjoyed watching Bon Cheol handling the location tracker and a wiretapping device to him. He then mentioned Do Won Bong's plan. From then on, Bon Cheol tried to persuade Kim Yo Han to join forces with him.

On the other hand, a deeper bond between Kim Yo Han and Oh Soo Yeon begins to emerge.
After leaving the precinct, Kim Yo Han decided to stay at Oh Soo Yeon's house. During his stay, he discovered the tragedy that happened to her.
They decided to team up to take revenge on the people who made their lives miserable.
