"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" depicts the life an autistic lawyer who conquers the courtroom despite her disorder, fighting prejudice, injustices and discrimination.

Park Eun Bin plays the titular role of Woo Young Woo. Since the drama premiered, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" received critical acclaim for its phenomenal delivery of fun, healing and moral elements every week.

Because of this, the drama remains at the top of Netflix Global Charts for six consecutive weeks since its premiere.

The webtoon, which was expected to have refreshing and synergistic effects, is being criticized by fans. While the drama scores an all-time high rating, the webtoon suffers from its rather low rating.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" landed at No. 3 in Naver Webtoon after "Love Revolution" and "Independent Diary."

Unfortunately, the webtoon plummets in terms of ratings. "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" scored an average rating of 7%, which is the second lowest among other webtoons.

The webtoon is also being compared to Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik's "Our Beloved Summer" webtoon that received a high rating of 10%, disappointing fans.

Here's Why 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Webtoon Receives Poor Feedback

Before the webtoon version was released, AStory, the publishing company, revealed that the webtoon is adapting the original storyline of the drama.

The chapters of the webtoons will also be enjoyed while the drama airs simultaneously. Because of this, the plot did not interest the readers, and would rather watch the series.

Another factor is the lack of the emotions in webtoon. Woo Young Woo is an eccentric character portrayed perfectly by Park Eun Bin.

Meanwhile, the webtoon falls short in expressing the character, missing the important details including the fidgeting of hands, adorable mannerisms and polite way of speaking, and more.

The webtoon is also criticized for portraying the character as a cliché female heroine rather than an autistic person thriving in the courtroom.
