Seo Ji Hye Teams Up With Lee Sung Jae in 'Red Balloon'
This 2022, Seo Ji Hye returns with an inspiring and heartfelt drama with Lee Sung Jae entitled "Red Balloon"!
Written by scriptwriter Moon Young Nam, the series depicts the passionate stories of people who often compare themselves to others, their ultimate desires and the struggles they face to conquer their goal.
Through "Red Balloon," Seo Ji Hye and Lee Sung Jae work together for the first time. Seo Ji Hye plays the role of Jo Eun Gang, a pragmatic yet passionate woman who will do anything to achieve her dreams.
In the script reading event, Seo Ji Hye impressed her co-stars with her immersive acting and unique techniques in synchronizing with her character as well as her fellow actors.

Meanwhile, Lee Sung Jae takes on the role of Ji Nam Cheol, a destitute man who is looked down upon by his in-laws. Because of his good-for-nothing reputation and societal status, he always asks for forgiveness for his existence.
From his delivery and micro expressions, Lee Sung Jae gave Ji Nam Cheol life. The actor's performance instantly drew the production unit's attention, heralding a great beginning for the drama.
Hong Soo Hyun and Lee Sang Woo Couple Up in 'Red Balloon'
Hong Soo Hyun and Lee Sang Woo join the team as a married couple, and complete the main cast of the upcoming work.
Han Ba Da, a jewelry designer, will be played by Hong Soo Hyun. Known for her quirky personality, she never bears grudges against anyone. With her alluring yet elegant visage, Hong Soo Hyun captured the emotions of her character.
On the other hand, Lee Sang Woo plays Go Cha Won, a dermatologist wedded to Han ba Da. Like his wife, he has a kind heart and a nice sense of humor. However, he is trapped between his wife and mother's conflict.
To portray Go Cha Won, Lee Sang Woo showed off his very relaxed vibe and stylish aura, captivating his co-stars and even the production unit.
Apart from that, the supporting cast which includes Jung Yoo Min, Yoon Mi Ra, Yoon Joo Sang, Lee Bo Hee, Jung Bo Suk, Kim Hye Sun and more were also present during the event, ready to lend their unique talents.
