IN THE LOOP: ‘Alchemy of Souls,’ ‘Money Heist Korea,’ More K-dramas To Return This Week
A slew of intriguing projects are ready to dominate the entertainment scene this week varying from action, thriller and comedy.
In particular, the highly loved series of 2022, "Alchemy of Souls" and "Money Heist Korea" also return with new seasons this winter!
'Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow'
After dominating the Hallyu scene last summer, tvN's work of mystic "Alchemy of Souls" is set to return with a new season!
Set three years after Part 1, Lee Jae Wook works together with Go Yoon Jung, the actress who previously played the shadow assassin Naksu, to continue the magical tale of the mages in the fictional world of Daeho.
Hwang Minhyun, Oh My Girl Arin, Yoo In Soo and Shin Seung Ho will also return to the small screen with Part 2. Don't miss "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" this December 10 on tvN!
'Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area'
Like "Alchemy of Souls," the South Korean remake of the Spanish series "Money Heist" will also return with six brand new episodes this winter!
To complete their high scale heist, the genius robbers from North and South Korea will work together to take out the gold reserve from the Unified Korea Mint.
Yoo Ji Tae will return as the Professor along with his gang, including Park Hae Soo, Jeon Jong Seo, Lee Hyun Woo and more.

Lim Ji Yeon will join the cast in Part 2 as Seoul. Check out "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" on Netflix this December 9!
'Connect'
After the success of his dramas "D.P." and "Snowdrop," Jung Hae In transforms into a humanoid who lost his eyes in the forthcoming series "Connect."
The series follows a humanoid who becomes a victim to organ hunters called "Connect." In hopes to find his eye which was transplanted in another person's body, he uncovers a serial killing case which leads him to the person he's been looking for.
"Connect" marks Disney+'s one of the few horror action thriller series to date. Don't forget to check out Jung Hae In's new series on December 7!
'Reborn Rich'
The right combination of revenge, romance and Song Joong Ki's pretty visage, everyone is just thrilled for "Reborn Rich"!
It deals with the story of a man who's killed after being accused of embezzlement and fraud, and soon later gets reborn as the youngest son of South Korea's richest family to seek revenge from his killer.

'Summer Strike'
Seolhyun and Im Siwan deliver a healing watching experience with their brand new series "Summer Strike"!
Set in the quaint village of Angok, "Summer Strike" tells the story of a burnt out corporate employee who sets out on a journey to find her peace and a librarian who hides a painful past.
