Not all beautifully written K-dramas center their story on romance. There are various series that include swoon-worthy moments from the lead stars, which still have more to discover in the plot. 

From Song Joong Ki's "Vincenzo" to Lomon's ongoing series "Revenge of Others," here are seven non-romantic drama recommendations if you are on a love detox.

1. 'Vincenzo'

First on the list is this action-dark comedy series starring Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin. Italian-Korean lawyer and mafia consigliere Vincenzo Cassano return to Korea with the plan of getting some hidden gold in Geumga Plaza.

However, his plans change when he becomes involved with Babel. He then teamed up with lawyer Hong Cha Young to bring down the corrupt group. 

Vincenzo's chaotic but heart-warming friendship with the Geumga Plaza residents is one of the highlights of this drama.

2. 'Uncanny Counter'

This mystery-action drama follows the story of a group of people called "Counters" composed of So Mun (Jo Byeong Gyu), Do Ha Na (Kim Sejeong), Ga Mo Tak (Yu Jun Sang), and Chu Mae Ok (Yum Hye Ran). With their special abilities, they are destined to fulfill their one mission of hunting demon spirits. 

3. 'The Good Detective'

Introduces detectives who try to catch criminals and uncover the truth behind the cases which some of the superior executives were involved. Oh Ji Hyuk (Jang Seung Jo), an elite detective-teams up with Incheon's Violent Crime Division headed by Kang Do Chang (Son Hyun Joo). "The Good Detective" now have season 2!

4. 'The Fiery Priest'

Penned by the brilliant writer Park Jae Bum, this drama is a combination of action, crime, and comedy. The story focuses on the hilarious journey of a NIS agent turned priest Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil). Following the death of an elderly priest, he goes on a journey in taking down the gangsters and corrupt officials in the city along with Park Kyung Sun (Lee Honey).

5. 'Misaeng'

Starring Im Siwan, this series depicts the struggles that employees experience in their everyday life. In particular, a group of interns in their twenties turned into regular employees at a big multinational company.

After he fails to achieve his dream of becoming a baduk player, Jang Geu Rae starts to explore the real world. He tries applying for office work. There he discovers the inequality and superiority in the corporate industry.

6. 'Hot Stove League'

This sports drama stars Namgoong Min, Park Eun Bin, Oh Jung Se, and Jo Byeing Gyu. The story revolves around a baseball team, Dreams, which has been the worst in the league for years. However, their fate starts to change when Baek Seung Soo gets appointed as the new general manager of the team.

7. 'Revenge of Others'

This drama is indeed worth the hype as it talks about problems in society and the struggles that students face at school. Ok Chan Mi (Shin Ye Eun) quit her normal life in Busan and travels to Seoul, to chase the truth behind the death of her twin. She gets involved with Ji Soo Heon Lomon), who takes revenge on the perpetrators on behalf of the bullied students.
