In particular, "Soundtrack #2" will center its story on the music-loving Hyeon Seo and Soo Ho. They meet as vocal and keyboard players in a college band, and later on establish feelings for each other.

For six years, they spend most of their days together. However, the pair eventually break up due to the pressure of life that they face after graduating from the university.

What To Expect From Disney+'s 'Soundtrack #2'

To recall, in the recent community briefing of Disney+, the company revealed all the upcoming projects they are preparing for 2023. K-drama fans are delighted to know that among the shows to be released next year, the music drama "Soundtrack," formerly as "Soundtrack #1," will return with Season 2.

However, even though the original series is bound to make a comeback on the small screen, Disney+ also confirmed that the second installment will have a new set of cast and a new plot. It has been said that there will be more amazing K-pop songs to be featured in the drama's part 2.

Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik were the original leads of "Soundtrack." Though they will no longer reprise their roles, the two made a perfect tandem in the series. Season 1 is composed of four episodes while season 2 is yet to be confirmed.

Furthermore, the drama's production aims to release the series in the first half of 2023.
