After the historical medical K-drama confirms its second season, fans are looking forward to more twists and turns, especially the budding romance of the main characters.
In the latest teaser, the broadcast network released the "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2" official poster featuring Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi as Yoo Se Poong and Lady Seo Eun Woo.
'Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2' Drops Official Poster
Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi both reprised their roles in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2" as the drama returns with a more heartbreaking and thrilling mood.
Along with a caption that says "Capturing two shots of Se Poong X Eun Woo's heart-throbbing teaser poster" hints at heart-fluttering moments between the two, stimulating excitement in viewers.
Moreover, the upcoming sequel will also illustrate the direction of the romance between Yoo Se Poong and Seo Eun Woo and if they will become strong partners as physicians.
In a report, a representative from the production hints at what to expect in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2"
"In Season 2, the performance of the members of the county council who moved to Hanyang is depicted more dynamically," the official said.
In addition, there will be changes in Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi's loveline adding that "the romance between Yoo Se Poong and Seo Eun Woo will also be drawn deeper and darker."
'Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2' Cast and Release Date
Right before season 1 ends, tvN announced that "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" will return for a sequel.
At the time, the broadcast network released a video with cast members expressing how thrilled they are to return for season 2.
Kim Min Jae shared that he is looking forward to seeing the "very warm, loud, and fun memories" on the set that they expressed in season 1.

The same goes for Kim Hyang Gi who gave hints saying that viewers will be able "to see a little more about what happens in the palace."
"I think I'll be able to show a new image so I'm also looking forward to it," she added.
Released in August 2021, "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" follows the story of a respected young internal medicine doctor who was expelled from the palace after a shocking conspiracy.
He then meets Gye Ji Han, played by Kim Sang Kyung, and the rest of his family along with his first patient outside the palace, Lady Seo Eun Woo portrayed by Kim Hyang Gi.
Following the confirmation of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2" the historical medical K-drama will premiere on January 11, 2023, airing every Wednesday and Thursday via tvN.
