In a news cited by Insight on December 15, Disney+'s new series "Connect" that made its debut on December 7 has aroused keen interest in South Korea. The series topped the chart of most-watched contents in the country.

In addition, it is gaining popularity in foreign regions like Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Viewers believe that the ongoing popularity of "Connect" is based on its solid story. It tells about a new kind of human being whose body is immortal.

The story starts when Ha Dong Soo (Jung Hae In), was kidnapped by an organized trafficking group and where he lost his eye. Later on, he finds out that his eye was transplanted into a serial killer who causes chaos in Korea.

Meanwhile, Studio Dragon's Producer Song Jin Sun, who planned and produced the thriller series for a long time, shared in his message:

Song Jin Sun expressed "We really appreciate the compliments and explosive reactions from you, we are hoping that more people will enjoy this masterpiece."

Apart from that, viewers around the globe also poured out praises.

"I want to compliment director Miike on how quick changes happen in the atmosphere from the peak of horror to the calmness of everyday life."
