After being embroiled in a dispute with agency Hook Entertainment, Lee Seung Gi delivers "really heavy news" regarding the update about their camp's submission of the complaint.

The news comes after the actor's legal representative released an official press statement regarding their charges against CEO Kwon Jin Young and three other directors.

In a report cited by a media outlet, Lee Seung Gi officially sued the CEO and three former directors on the morning of December 22.

Lee Seung Gi Accuses Hook Entertainment Officials of 'Swindling' His Hard-Earned Money

The statement includes accusing the top agency officials of "swindling" the singer-actor's modeling fees.

"Lee Seung Gi learned through recent reports that former and current directors of Hook deceived the actor and swindled some of the advertising model fees," the statement reads, adding that "the former and current directors shared some of the fees without paying them."

Due to this, Lee Seung Gi's camp has filed fraud and business embezzlement against Hook Entertainment CEO Kwon Jin Young and three directors despite admitting the dispute and "paid about 630 million won."

Lee Sung Gi to File Claims for 'Unpaid Music Fees'

Apart from the embezzlement and swindling complaints, "The Law cafe" star revealed through his legal representative that the actor "has never reached an agreement with Hook Entertainment about the settlement of music fees."

Due to this, the actor and his team were forced to "plan to file a claim against Hook Entertainment and those involved for unpaid music fees" including the compensation for damages caused by the officials' "illegal acts."

The legal action comes after Lee Seung Gi has never received any fees for his music projects which include releasing 137 songs since his debut in 2004 worth 10 billion won.

After the issue was publicized, the singer-actor left Hook Entertainment and sent the label a content certification requesting an explanation regarding his music revenues.

Lee Seung Gi to Donate Earnings Received from Hook Entertainment

Amid the legal complaints of Lee Seung Gi and his former agency, the actor took to social media to give fans updates regarding the process.

Lee Seung Gi gets honest and says that he "has not been very well" due to the "betrayal" and frustration caused by the situation.

Moreover, the actor says that he received 5 billion won or approximately $3.8 million in his account but claimed that Hook Entertainment thinks that he is doing legal complaints to "get money" from the label.

Despite this, he insisted to continue with the court battle and as for the payment, he promised to give back to the community through donations.

"Starting with the 5 billion won that was deposited today, excluding the legal aid costs, I will give back the rest to the community," he said, as translated by a media outlet.
