'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 28: Jang Uk Confesses To Jin Bu Yeon

In the previous episode, Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) admits missing Jin Bu Yeon (Go Yoon Jung), and kisses her with so much passion.

Episode 28 begins with the two declaring their love for one another, and promise to go all-in with the idea of marriage. However, Jang Uk doesn't want to get on Jin Bu Yeon's mother's bad side anymore.

Jin Bu Yeon then agrees to go home, and asks Jang Uk to visit her at Jinyowon, and sneak in at night.

Jin Bu Yeon Searches For Answers in Danhyanggok

Seo Yul also talks to Jin Ho Gyeong (Park Eun Hye), saying that she shouldn't kill Naksu as her soul would soon disappear in Jin Bu Yeon's body.

Elsewhere, Heo Yun Ok (Hong Seo Hee) plans to reveal to Jin Bu Yeon that she is Naksu by using an herbal medicine for soul shifters.

With this, Jin Bu Yeon ends up seeing Naksu's memories once again. To answer all of her questions, she goes to Danhyanggok without hesitation, and eventually discovers more memories of the past.

She also sees younger Jin Bu Yeon, the true owner of the body. Jin Bu Yeon then learns that she needs to leave the real Jin Bu Yeon's body soon.

After this, Jin Bu Yeon bids goodbye to Jang Uk without telling the real reason behind it, leaving the other confused.

Jin Bu Yeon Reveals Divine Powers

Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho) joins hands with Jin Mu (Jo Jae Yoon) once again, expressing his desire to be as powerful as Jang Uk.

The two send Jang Uk to the North Fortress as the General, making sure that he doesn't get in their way.

In addition to that, Jin Mu asks Jin Ho Gyeong to give up Jinyowon to more powerful mage families. To his surprise, Jin Bu Yeon shows up and stands up against him.

Jin Bu Yeon declares that she has regained her divine powers and memories, surprising everyone. She is tasked to find the Jinyowon plaque inside a prison where the powerful Gwisu is being held captive.

Despite the risk of being killed, she intends to keep Jinyowon's pride and reputation. When she enters the prison, the wraiths begin to haunt her.

Out of nowhere, the blue jade inside her pocket glows, summoning Jang Uk. When he destroys the wraith, Jang Uk discovers the blue marks in Jin Bu Yeon's eyes, leaving him in shock and confusion.
