‘Alchemy of Souls’ Episode 30: Lee Jae Wook Finally Marries Go Yoon Jung
The final episode of the highly loved series "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" finally graced the small screen, bidding goodbye to its viewers.

'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 30: Jang Uk Awakens The Fire Bird
The resurrection of Jin Mu (Jo Jae Yoon) brought panic in the previous episode of the series. In the finale, he wastes no time and takes over the fire bird.
Jin Ho Gyeong (Park Eun Hye), whose powers weakened over time, tries to save the relics that escaped after Jin Mu steals the fire bird in Jinyowon.
Maidservant Kim (Oh Na Ra) assists the weak mage to save Daeho. The two get stuck inside Jinyowon along with the relics and sadly pass away.
Park Jin (Yoo Jun Sang) attends the Unanimous Assembly's meeting and learns about the King's plan. Though helpless, he risks his life fighting Jin Mu.
Jang Uk Marries Cho Yeong
After living four different lives-from being Cho Yeong to living as the shadow assassin Naksu (Go Yoon Jung) and becoming the greatest priestess Jin Bu Yeon and servant Mu Deok (Jung So Min)-she finally weds the love of her life.
With Master Lee's (Im Chul Soo) guidance, Jang Uk and Cho Yeong marry one another; like a light finally being embraced by its own shadow.

Unfortunately, their happiness is short-lived as Cho Yeong's soul is ejected from Jin Bu Yeon's body, who now shows herself as another great war is approaching.
Jang Uk then returns to Daeho to awaken the fire bird and change the fate of the curse that happened 200 years ago.
Jang Uk and Jin Bu Yeon Save Daeho
With the help of Jin Bu Yeon, Park Dang Gu (Yoo In Soo), Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun), Jin Cho Yeon (Oh My Girl Arin) and Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho), Jang Uk kills the fire bird.
Thankfully, their joint energies evaded the impending doom that could've brought Daeho to ruin. In particular, Jang Uk burns Cheonbugwan in spite, killing Jin Mu and the members of the Unanimous Assembly that desired great destructive power.
Jin Bu Yeon also revives Jin Ho Gyeong, Park Jin and Maidservant Kim with her divine powers.
The Four Seasons' Happily Ever After
A year later, husband and wife Park Dang Gu and Jin Cho Yeon give birth to twins. Maidservant Kim and Park Jin also exchanged their vows and are now expecting.
Meanwhile, Crown Prince Go Won becomes King after Jang Uk expresses his refusal to become one. With the Crown Prince's genuine desire to bring peace and harmony, Jang Uk believes he will be the greatest king of Daeho.

And despite Jang Uk's stubbornness, he convinces Jang Uk to become the Gwanju of Cheonbugwan. Master Lee, who played a big part in their lives, becomes Crown Prince Go Won's master and adviser.
On the other hand, Seo Yul leads Songrim Jeonjingak, training mages to their full potential.
As for Jang Uk and Naksu, who now assumes Jin Bu Yeon's life after Jin Seol Ran gives up the young woman's body, the two spend their time at the top of the big Danhyanggok tree.
They also become monster hunters as they search for the remaining relics that belong to Jinyowon.
After 15 long weeks, "Alchemy of Souls" finally closes its curtains on a magically great note.
