Song Hye Kyo & Song Joong Ki Lead the Actor Brand Reputation Rankings for January

Based on the data published by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation on January 19, the top 3 TV actors/actresses in terms of brand value rankings for this month are Song Hye Kyo, who successfully made it to first place, Song Joong Ki in 2nd, and "Alchemy of Souls" lead star Go Yoon Jung occupied the third spot.

According to the news, the data gathered from December 19 to January 19, the institute analyzed big data of 50 Korean actors and actresses in areas including media activities, communication, community engagements, and consumer participation.

Starting from K-drama goddess Song Hye Kyo, who earned a total of more than 10,000,000 points this January. Her ranking immediately leveled up, thanks to her drama comeback "The Glory," which was released on Netflix, the actress remained popular again for weeks on various social media platforms

Next to her is award-winning actor Song Joong Ki, who concluded his drama "Reborn Rich" with a high viewership rating. He was able to get 8,005,509 points in total. Recent news confirming his relationship status also added to the number of engagements he earned online.

Go Yoon Jung Occupies 3rd Place Despite Receiving Backlash

Though she received a backlash when she returned to "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow," Go Yoon Jung was able to prove her name and soon received recognition from the public for her performance in the series. According to the record, she was able to earn 7,605, 799 points.

Meanwhile, "The Glory" stars almost occupied the top 5, naming Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Do Hyun, who ranked the 4th and 5th place.
