‘Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2’ Episode 7: Kim Min Jae Refuses to Distance Himself to Kim Hyang Gi
"Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 7 featured how things will be with Kim Min Jae and Hyang Gi now that the District Governor is closely monitoring them.
From the watchful eye of the governor, the episode also hints at why the young inspector and the physician at the royal clinic wanted Yoo Se Poong out of Gyesoo Clinic.
Based on the webtoon "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" the weekday K-drama depicts the story of a skilled physician Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) who managed to clear his name after an influential person tried to drag him into a conspiracy relating to the King's death.
Due to this, he unexpectedly meets the members of the Gyesoo Clini run by Kye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) who used to be one of the top-notch physicians.
Apart from it, he also meets Lady Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) a widow who chose to work with Se Poong and Ji Han as a physician.
As "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" season 2 airs, the sequel will highlight Yoo Se Poong's connection with the palace as well as his romance with Lady Seo.

The episode starts with District Governor Ahn Hak Soo ordering one of his men, Chil Sung, to spy on the members of Gyesoo Clinic and record every suspicious activity that they will do.
Despite being hesitant, he followed his superior's order and went to visit the clinic.
First, he delivered the message regarding the curfew and ban on leaving outside the clinic's premises.

However, Chil Sung, it was hard for him to report negative things about the members of the Gyesoo clinic since he knew that they are good people.
On the other hand, Kye Ji Han received a letter from the King, giving him a heads-up regarding the counsels' plan to oust Yoo Se Poong and strip him of his title.
With this, the King warned Ji Han and the rest of the members, especially Se Poong and Lady Seo not to give the counsels reason to punish them.
At the same time, Ji Han thinks that Yoo Se Poong should distance himself from Seo Eun Woo for the time being.
Because of their current setup, Yoo Se Poong is heartbroken that he won't be able to speak to Lady Seo and even interact with her during their work.
In the last scene of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 7, Seo Eun Woo chose to leave Gyesoo Clinic in order not to give Yoo Se Poong and the rest a hard time dealing with patients.
However, Yoo Se Poong was devastated by Lady Seo's choice but understands that they need time apart.
