After the twist and turns in Yoo Se Poong and Lady Eun Woo's romance, finally, the finale episode introduced them as a couple. However, the duo faced a near-death experience after Governor Ahn attempted to kill Eun Woo by strangling her in the middle of the field.
Thankfully, Yoo Se Poong arrived just in the nick of time and was able to save Eun Woo after he overcome his fear of administering acupuncture.

After the King found out about Governor Ahn's wrongdoing with Jeon Kang Il as his accomplice, the royal punished the former governor by beheading him while the royal physician faces exile.
On the other hand, Yoo Se Poong becomes the head of the medical office.
As for Se Poong, he asked the Royal to take Eun Woo instead as one of the medical practitioners at the palace since he is set to return to Sorak village where he needs most.
Meanwhile, Lady Eun Woo was in charge of the Queen's delivery and was able to help the royal give birth to her firstborn, a son.
Unfortunately, it's not rainbow and butterflies for the Gyesoo team as grandma died while beside Yoo Se Poong.
In the last scene, Seo Eun Woo married Yoo Se Poong.
Physician Jye Gi Han continues to treat people at Gyesoo along with the contribution of everyone.
Instead of making clothes, Gye Ib Bun chose to help run the clinic through psychological analysis while Jang Goon grew up to be soon to be a top-notch physician.
As for Lady Nam Hae, she continues to be with the family, entertaining everyone, even the patients with her lovely meals.

Will There be 'Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 3'?
Unlike the first season where tvN announced an upcoming sequel in the finale episode, season 2 ended without any announcement regarding the upcoming season.
Although it is early to say that the historical K-drama will return for the third installment, viewers are looking forward to Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi's on-screen chemistry.
