"Money Heist Korea" actress Jeon Jong Seo's father passes away after battling a long-term illness. In line with this, the actress' agency released a statement about Jeon Jong Seo's activities and schedule changes.

Jeon Jong Seo Laments Father's Demise

After fighting a life-long illness, "Money Heist Korea" actress Jeon Jong Seo's father has passed away.

On February 12, Jeon Jong Seo's agency, ANDMARQ, stated that the actress will be the chief mourner to her father's wake with her family. Because of this, Jeon Jong Seo's scheduled activities are rearranged and pushed back until further notice.

Jeon Jong Seo also posted a message on her Instagram account, saying, "Dad, I will pray for your soul. I love you."

The actress recently posted a message on her Instagram account, saying "Dad, I will pray for you every day, I love you."

On the other hand, the funeral will be held quietly with Jeon Jong Seo's family and close acquaintances at the funeral hall of Asan Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

In addition to that, Jeon Jong Seo's long-time boyfriend, movie director Lee Chung Hyun, is also listed as a chief mourner along with the actress.

Jeon Jong Seo's Upcoming Film 'Ballerina' More

Jeon Jong Seo made her debut in 2018 with the film "Burning," and has starred in high scale projects including "The Call," "Nothing Serious" and "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area."

This 2023, she is set to make her silver screen comeback with the upcoming film "Ballerina" with "Money Heist Korea" co-star Kim Ji Hoon. "Ballerina" is an upcoming revenge thriller written and directed by Lee Chung Hyun, Jeon Jong Seo's partner and "The Call" director. It follows the life of Ok Joo, a former bodyguard equipped with martial arts and sword fighting skills who avenges her ballerina friend Min Hee.

In the movie, Jeon Jong Seo plays the role of Ok Joo. With her gravity-defying stunts and acting in "Money Heist Korea," fans couldn't wait to see the actress in another exhilarating role.

Meanwhile, Kim Ji Hoon, who took on the role of Denver in "Money Heist Korea," transforms into Pro Choi, the man who Ok Joo is set to kill.

Rookie actress Park Yoo Rim also joins the cast as Min Hee, Jeon Jong Seo's only friend. The film began its principal filming in June 2022, which lasted until October 2022.

Thankfully, the film has already finished its production process, especially now that Jeon Jong Seo and director Lee Chung Hyun will be busy at the actress' father's funeral.

On the other hand, "Ballerina" is scheduled to air in the second quarter of the year, and it will be available on Netflix for worldwide viewers.
