tvN's soon-to-release series "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper" dropped a new teaser, featuring Joo Won's transformation as a dark hero.

'Stealer: The Treasure Keeper' Teaser: Joo Won is Civil Servant at Day & Dark Hero by Night

Hallyu superstar Joo Woon is returning on the small screen this April, as he headlines the upcoming tvN drama "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper."

According to the released synopsis, "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper" is a caper comic-action series, in which a mysterious cultural asset thief named Skunk and Team Karma team up to fight against those who cannot be punished by the law.

Joo Won is about to showcase his duality as the actor will take a double role as Hwang Dae Myung, a civil servant of the Cultural Heritage Administration, and the mysterious cultural asset thief Skunk.

Ahead of its release, the production dropped an exciting teaser.

The clip starts with Hwang Dae Myung drowsing during his work hours, funnily wearing glasses with eyes printed on them so no one can notice he is dozing off. Then, Jin Ae Ri (Min Soo Hwa), his officemate, quickly notices him and yells at him.

Hwang Dae Myung keeps dozing off at work because he transforms into a cultural asset thief by night. It also reveals how Skunk has retrieved and assembled an entire wall's worth of cultural assets.

Before the video concludes, Dae Myung is seen revealing his identity to someone.

Apart from the teaser, the drama also released stills where Skunk exhibited a powerful and charismatic aura in a black suit.

In the another picture, he turns into an ordinary civil servant during the daytime.

Thanks to his fierce persona, Skunk punishes the cultural asset traffickers.

Hwang Dae Myung, on the other hand, takes a nap at work due to his covert operation at night, but it is hard for his officemates to hate him when he exhibits his charming smile that even viewers will surely be fond of.

Meanwhile, "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper" is set to premiere this coming April 12 on tvN and will occupy the Wednesday and Thursday slots at 10:30 p.m. (KST).

This is Joo Won's first drama after three years, following "Alice" in 2020. Viewers are already looking forward to his long-awaited comeback.
