Lee Joo Myung to Debut as Leading Lady Through 'Flower Bloom Even in the Sand'
According to a report on April 20, Lee Joo Myung is confirmed to star in the upcoming drama "Flowers Bloom Even in the Sand" (working title).
The romantic-comedy series tells the reunion of former wrestling prodigy Kim Baek Du and youthful alley leader Oh Yoo Kyung, who lives a messy life. It is set in the background of Geosan, a city where people struggle to bloom like flowers.
Lee Joo Myung takes the role of Oh Yoo Kyung, a prodigy and has made the hearts of many sports coaches flutter with her innate athletic nerves and a burning desire to compete. She becomes the management team leader of the Geosan-gun Office Ssireum Team right before the group's disbandment.

As a result, she is expected to completely melt into the cool and unstoppable character of Oh Yoo Kyung, bringing excitement to the viewers.
Lee Joo Myung Rises To Fame
In 2022, Lee Joo Myung received recognition for her cool and interesting character in the hit Netflix series "Twenty Five, Twenty One." She also left a strong impression in her other works, such as "Missing: The Other Side," "Kairos," and "Check Out the Event."
All eyes are on the actress as K-drama fans look forward to what kind of performance and presence Lee Joo Myung will exhibit in her first lead role.
Joining her is K-drama heartthrob Jang Dong Yoon, who is currently starring in the KBS2 series "Oasis." Other familiar faces to star in the project are Yoon Jong Seok, Kim Bo Ra, Lee Jae Jun, and Lee Ju Seung.
Jang Dong Yoon also has an upcoming romantic movie, "Long D," alongside "True Beauty" actress Park Yoo Na.
Apart from it, he is about to headline "My Man is Cupid" with idol-actress Nana.
The actor is also meeting Park Bo Young through the medical-healing series "Daily Dose of Sunshine."
Creatives behind the dramas "Suits," "Model Family," and "Queen of Mystery" will join forces to work on the project. The release date of "Flower Bloom Even in the Sand" is yet to be announced.
