Broadcast network JTBC announced that the beauty queen-turned-actress was cast in the upcoming series "Aema"! Keep on reading to know more!

Honey Lee To Possibly Headline New JTBC Series

On May 3, it was reported that acting extraordinaire Honey Lee was cast in the forthcoming JTBC comedy drama "Aema" (working title)!

The series depicts the fictional drama "Madame Aema" that was released in the early 1980s, and focuses on the lives of its actresses, producers and directors through an enticingly comical way.

Honey Lee's agency, Saram Entertainment, responded to the reports, saying that the actress is currently reviewing the offer with an open mind.

At the moment, the 40-year-old actress is in the middle of filming her other series "Flowers that Bloom at Night," which marks her first series after becoming a mother in June 2022.

In 2021, Lee Honey showcased her seamless transformations into her two-character role in the comedy drama "One the Woman."

The MBC series will be helmed by "My Love from the Star" and "Lovers of the Red Sky" director Jang Tae Yoo, guaranteeing a top notch quality and enjoyment.

"Flowers that Bloom at Night" is in the middle of production, and it is expected to be released in the second half of 2023.
