Lee Seung Gi and fellow "Strong Heart League" hosts were surprised to hear that the award winning actor is a possible target of pseudo-religious groups.
These types of organizations are often linked to a group of people who do fake religious activities or form a cult.
In an episode of SBS's entertainment program, a former member of a pseudo-religious group bravely spoke about its wickedness.
As mentioned by a media outlet, Kim Kang Rim, who appeared as a guest on "Strong Heart League," is currently active as a counselor for victims of these types of fake religious groups.
He exposed that there are about "two million followers of pseudo-religious members" this 2023.
The former member said that these pseudo-religious groups "are not real religions" and were created to "scam" and "deceive people."
Interestingly, Kim Kang Rim revealed why he went to expose the dark side of these groups.
"Many people are not aware of the seriousness of this situation, so I decided to come out on this show to talk about it," he said, as obtained by a media outlet.
However, when asked who among the hosts might be a possible victim, Kim Kang Rim mentioned Lee Seung Gi and Lee Hyo Jung's names.
Why Might Lee Seung Gi Be an Easy Target of Pseudo-Religious Groups?
The former member of a pseudo-religious group shared why he thinks Lee Seung Gi is a potential easy target for these types of fake church groups.
For one, he mentioned that the singer-actor "leaves a good impression."
In addition, Lee Seung Gi "gives off great energy and doesn't seem to have depression," from the point of view of a pseudo-religious group.

Moreover, Kim Kang Rim mentioned the top star's success both in music and acting.
"He seems to be living well, and I can feel that he will achieve great success," he explained.
The revelation not only surprised the program hosts but also drew laughter, especially from the actor.
However, he did leave a piece of advice for everyone, noting that "training for responses is necessary" as well as having a mindset not to fall into these types of traps.

Lee Seung Gi Donates the Compensation He Got From HOOK Entertainment
At the height of his feud with then-agency HOOK Entertainment, the "Vagabond" star donated 300 million won, or around $244,000, to a tech university called KAIST.
In addition, he also gave 550 million won to the Korean Red Cross as part of the organization's activities.
According to a media outlet, the donations came after Lee Seung Gi received 5.4 billion won from his former agency as part of the profits that the company failed to compensate.
