As we say goodbye to the month of July, the SBS TV drama also heads into its finale. To raise the fans' excitement, "Revenant" dropped a new behind-the-scenes video featuring its cast.
'Revenant' Drops New Behind-the-Scenes Clip With Kim Tae Ri
With only two episodes left, "Revenant" surprises its viewers with a sneak peek into the drama's production.
On July 28, SBS TV uploaded a new video that features what happens behind the cameras on set as a token of gratitude to fans who supported "Revenant" since its premiere.
In the video, Kim Tae Ri transforms into Goo San Young, a woman who is possessed by an evil spirit that kills people. It is revealed that the demon was once a human and was starved to death under the villagers' evil deeds.
With the little detail revealed, Kim Tae Ri impressively portrayed the raging demon that elicited an applause and admiration from the staff.
The actress chugged down 1.5 liters of water to perfectly depict how deprived the demon was with food and water. Most dramas don't require artists to eat or drink as some scenes could take longer to film.
Because of this, the water-chugging scene was a crucial moment not only for Kim Tae Ri and the production staff. Thankfully, it was a success. In the clip, Kim Tae Ri is also seen in her post-possession state where she's covered in blood.

Kim Tae Ri was naturally praised by the director, saying that she really looks possessed in the scene. Viewers also showered the actress high praises, even speculating that she would bag the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the end of 2023.
What To Expect From 'Revenant' Finale
For six long weeks, Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung decorated the small screen with horror and suspense through their A-lister series "Revenant."
Since its premiere, the series enjoyed a double digit rating streak. The series is also expected to maintain its all-time high until its conclusion.
In the final two episodes of the show, Kim Tae Ri's Goo San Young is predicted to finally be free of dangerous possessions. To recall, the demon's identity had been revealed as its rampage intensified.
Goo San Young with the help of Yeom Hae Sang and Lee Hong Sae, played by Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung, respectively, must eradicate the demon once and for all.
