In this, Captain Lim Ji Sup and Ahn Joon Ho were tasked with re-investigating the case regarding the late staff sergeant. They uncovered shocking information that Na Jung Seok power-tripped his junior, causing him to accidentally step on a land mine.

With this, netizens called out the Netflix series for depicting a "fantasy-like" drama, noting that the second season was too "unrealistic."

On the other hand, "D.P." season 2 was rated 3 out of 5, describing Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan's return as "disappointing."

"Lacking significant internal conflict, the squad occasionally struggles to hold onto our attention," the article reads.

Although the Netflix series received negative reviews from the public, there were also some who were satisfied with how the story went.

As mentioned, viewers were "impressed with the nail-biting suspense" in "D.P." season 2.

Interestingly, Rotten Tomatoes has given the Netflix show a 100 percent audience score, or the number that represents the percentage of users who have rated a movie or TV show positively.

'D.P.' Season 2 Highlights

Ahn Joon Ho and Han Hyo Yeol reunited to undergo a special mission.

One of their first was the Kim Ru Ri case, who open-fired at his colleagues as revenge for the harassment and bullying he faced in the military.

Because of this, Lieutenant Colonel Seo Eun (Kim Ji Hyun) was discharged from her post but returned as Ru Ri's lawyer, planning to expose the anomalies inside the department.

However, one of the significant key point in "D.P" season 2 was the return of Cho Suk Bong, a deserter featured in season 1.

With his appearance in the last part, viewers speculate that there will be "D.P" season 3 where he gets to tell his story.
